Getting some touch free ideas

Hey all!

Been working diligently upgrading our wash. got the new coin boxes in, crypto pay hooked up and running, paint starting in the next 2 weeks. adjusted cost/time and business is finally increasing! (and starting to actually turn a profit) so im starting to eye my closed up old hydro spray whirlybird bay. its a complete gut job and going to need all new... well everything. so my question is what touchless should i start looking into (your best recommendation) general cost and do they offer financing on them. I feel like with the increase im having adding the touchfree can only help (and alot of people keep asking for it) Let me know your thoughts and advice!

As always i appreciate it

Just curious, why are you limiting yourself to touch free? There are lots of good friction machines that have an extremely low rate of damage to cars, they clean better, and the cost of operation is a fraction of touch-free.

My installer kinda talked me out of soft touch/any touch mostly because my wash is unattended and in a sort of farm ish area. Thinking someone with a open truck bed goes in and the wash picks up some chicken wire in the brush then scratches cars until i get there to notice it made me very eh to the touched option. altho i was very on board for it im just not sure i want the possibility of buying a bunch of paint jobs.

however with that said im open to hearing all options and opinions.

That’s understandable.

I have an Oasis XP that should be installed in mid July. I am 100% touch free auto guy. In my area it gives me an option to offer in place of the tunnels, and they are everywhere. Good luck, there are a lot of great machines out there.

I just installed my first of 2 I plan on installing. I love it. Customers love it. Increased my prices 20% and I'm washing 2x the cars as I did previously.

Best decision I've made

Do they finance by chance? out of all the systems I've looked at i keep coming back to it because of the dual arms and cleaning speed i feel like it'll fit in my current bay (with a overhaul)

Anyone Running the Petit Accutrac 360i?
I am installing my first as we speak and then I plan on replacing my Washworld Razors with them as well. I visited the factory and it was a no brainer after seeing how they are built and how they wash. Give them a call and they will be glad to have you come visit.

Are you washing twice as many because of increased throughput or because the wash was rehabbed and looks newer etc?

In my honest opinion, from the standpoint of how it's built, you can't even compare any other machine to the Petit. Literally everything on it is stainless.

I financed mine through Bill Baker @ Coastal Credit. Got approved in a day @ 4% interest.

We are in a "small, rural town" on a major recreational lake with lots of farmers, ranchers, hunters, people fishing, etc. Our WW Profile has had no problems with picking up things in trucks because the top brush does not touch the pick up bed. It goes over the roof of the truck and stays at that level, not going into the truck bed.

Why do they call it a Profile if it does not wash the back window?

I work for OPW Vehicle Wash Systems and would be happy to talk to you about PDQ or Belanger equipment. Lots of time it comes down to who is going to support you the best in your market. If your not a hands on person, the distributor can make or break you.
