I've had mine for just over a year and love it so far. Got all the options including the touchless wheel cleaner.
I am interested in a soft touch - and I am looking for simplicity of design as an important factor. Don’t get me wrong / I know none of them are simple, but I would like and elevated machine with as few potential parts that could be considered “over engineered”. Right now I would say it would be the profile or the cube by Belanger.

There is a YouTube video that I think was posted by an enthusiast that shows the back end cleaning/coverage of the cube and it is outrageously good. The full pass across of each brush and the tilt really covers the backs well. It looks to me like this would be a strength of the profile too - even though there isn’t a tilt. . I’ll post the video if I can find it.

OMG! I went through a Belanger cube and the squeaking sound of the "Shinemitts" was so disturbing I was actually looking for damage when I exited the wash nooo way I would consider that system
I’ve heard squeaking in regular foam washes - like Rykos and various tunnels etc. , and the cause had always been not enough detergent/poor brush lubrication. Any chance that was the issue with the cube? Any foam can squeak without the proper amount of detergent.

Profile, the one you asked about.
Besides the 35 grease points any other maintenance items that may be different than the Razor?
Yes the 19 on the Razor are a breeze to handle.

Any other issues to be aware of?

How does it handle drivers who cannot drive straight down the middle of the bay?

Do you lose a lot of the mop strands, or can they easily wrap around things on a truck?

We see a few challenged drivers in our Istobal soft cloth who cannot navigate the railings so the machine just stops and resets so it does not damage a car or the machine.

What is the width of your bay? I saw a new Profile in a 14' bay. Works great when the drivers stay inside the lines. The WW Profile specs call for 15'9" min width hence the questions.

We use Yellow Highway Reflector Markers in our bay with our Profile, since I agree with you that the rails can be very intimidating to customers. One of the Instructions on our sign says, Please Center Your Vehicle Between The Yellow Guides." We still get idiots that drive in crooked and when any part of their vehicle is over the yellow markers, the Profile will Stop, and tell them to Exit. This happens alot with duallys. Attached is a pic of a dually that drove in a bit too far over on the passenger side and the Profile stopped on him.

Can they just re-center, or do they have to exit and enter again? Is their wash lost? What if there is another car behind them at the paystation?

No, their wash is "aborted" and they'll have to pay again. The machine will reset itself, the brushes will go back to the Home position, and the next car in line will be told to enter. Many times, they call us, and want to know why the machine threw them out. I explain to him they were not centered properly and I usually give them a Wash Code for another wash, and explain they have to make sure they pull in between the yellow guides. It doesn't cost us much to give them a free wash and it's good customer service. Otherwise, they yell and scream and want a refund, but when I tell them it was Driver Error, they shut up. They will keep coming back and do it right the next time.

We have had only minimal damage claims with our Profile -- a wiper blade here and there; and an antenna once.

Looks great!

“PLEASE PLACE CAR IN PARK DAMMIT!”:ROFLMAO:

Did you remove your WS keypad to mount your Tap-n-Pay? How do you issue refunds?

WOW thank you so much for sharing your journey!!! I myself am on track to ordering my first car wash which will be the profile max as well. I live in Hawaii by the way. By any chance could you share your prices and what you offer with each price? Also have you seen it is better to offer 3 prices better than 4? and also what options do you have on your profile max such as the touchless cleaner, maybe the tri foam, the foam n flow, and etc? Thank you again for sharing!!! Really inspiring tbh and hope mine turns out as good as yours!!

Beautiful! You seem really worried about damage claims lol. I have one and only have a camera at each door. The profile is safe and will not damage cars.
Coming from only owning touch-free washes I am kind of anal about it. I just wanted to make sure I had all my bases covered. I'm most worried about people leaving their hitches on but from what I've told it should not damage the machine.

I mounted the keypad inside and put the tap to pay where the keypad was. I offer refunds through the washworld vijeo app.

I wondered what you were referring to and looked everywhere for a disclaimer sign before I finally noticed the camera arch.

I think 3 packages simplifies for the customer when making a choice. My bottom wash is $10, middle wash is $15, and top wash is $20 which includes 3x foam, ceramic, touchless wheel detailers, and a free vacuum token. The top wash has a quad brush pass on front and back, the middle wash only one brush goes across the back and front, and the bottom wash only the top brush washes front and back. All packages get the side brush.
