With Nayax, you don't need a display timer or external button. Timer and stop button will both be displayed on the Nayax screen in count up.Here is my setup. Laurel nayax specific accessory box from Kleenrite and use a Ginsan GS-402 timer. I do count-down pricing since I dont have a display timer or an external stop button which would be required to effectively do that. My pricing is $3,$4,$5,$6,$10,$15. I get folks regularly selecting the $10 wash as well as the lower menu options. the downside is even though customer support can help you configure the devices to exactly the price and menu options you want, the wiring is a little less intuitive and documented than what crypto offers with their install instructions.
I can also remotely activate the bay by using my prepaid virtual card/wallet in the "moma" phone app that auto roll-over balance to monthly. This way I can activate a bay and pay for customer wash on a different working bay without needing to do refunds. I tell them to text me next time they are at the wash and I'll activate the bay for them if for some reason I can't respond to their text/call in time and they had an issue.

yes but I often see complaints about water spray touching the sensitive touchscreen turning off the bay creating user frustration. Also you need to run a 24v from the nayax pulse wire to the rotary timed load so you can bypass the timer, but I thought that also requires special separate relays that need to be bought off amazon. It seems much easier to integrate with an LED7 timer (although more expensive, which is why i didnt go this route). Again, I wanted to keep my customer complaints and user frustration low. Others may be better at signage and customer service, but thats not my desire.

I have the exact same timers as you at one of our locations with nayax installed in count up mode - using some relays and dc power supply. Count down can also be done with those timers and nayax. No need to replace timers, it can be done with your current setupbuckey 3847,
I like your setup on the older coin box with cc reader. My question is would it be easy to convert my setup to use credit cards, and is the wiring easy to connect. I am new to this business and still trying to learn. View attachment 10334
Yes, it can be done with basically any car wash machine with the correct power supply and relaydo you know if this is applicable to a je Adam’s?
Keno, I'm a little confused, I understand about the relay and why it's needed, but thought the Nayax Vpos had two wires in the harness that powered the relay? What exactly is the power supply needed for? Only thing I can think of, is if it is on a vac that only has 120V and is needed to power the Nayax unit. ThanksYes, it can be done with basically any car wash machine with the correct power supply and relay
I've never been able to get the output to work from the nayax to reliably work with the low signal relay. It has caused me many issues and troubleshooting time.Keno, I'm a little confused, I understand about the relay and why it's needed, but thought the Nayax Vpos had two wires in the harness that powered the relay? Do you have a link to that power supply?I've never been able to get the output to work from the nayax to reliably work with the low signal relay. It has caused me many issues and troubleshooting time.
The power supply I use to transform bay 24vac power to 12vdc for relay and nayax. Nayax can only take 24vac max, so if bay voltage too high it can kill the nayax. There is a member on here that killed a nayax from over voltage by hooking to bay power. The dc voltage range is much wider. Just an insurance factor from my perspective. And it's needed for the low signal relay anyway.
Bought them from Amazon, let me see if I can find the linkDo you have a link to that power supply?
I used this one because it seemed more waterproof (IP67) than the one you shared above and bonus it is cheaper. My bays were reading 25V on one unit that failed on me after less than a year. I swapped with my spare after installing the converter and I'm in the process of replacing the rest of the bays with step down converters to avoid an early death to the other units. I cant believe Nayax units have such a narrow tolerance for AC power and imagine that was contributing to early warranty replacements for many of them. Definitely recommend keeping a spare Nayax as well!I used something similar to this, couldn't find the exact one I used, but pretty sure that they are all similar made in China quality - I definitely have spares on hand, luckily haven't needed them yet
