Is Etowah valley equipment still in business?

I know their service has always been a nightmare but I sent an email to get a quote a few weeks ago and still no reply. Just wondered if they are still in business or if their poor service has finally got the best of them? I know a few years ago I purchased some equipment from them and had to call and email over and over to get any kind of response. If they are still in business I don't know how this business model actually works for them.

Yes, they are still in business. If you have had so much trouble dealing with them, why would you want to buy anything else from them?
 
For years Jim has not been good about getting back with quotes. I just call parts instead but sometimes they are busy and don't answer. You can leave a message but are wasting you're time as the guy probably won't call back. Just keep calling back later in the day or the next day until he answers. Once you have placed an order they do seem to deliver so at least that's good. I'm sure they could get a lot more business if Jim would delegate the quotes and other stuff to someone else.
 
Talked to someone there a month ago about getting a quote for 14 meter box doors. They said email them and thats what I did. It's been almost 30 days and I still have not heard back. I even called and reminded them a week later I was in a rush. Mind you I didn't just say I want meter boxes doors. I told them exactly what I wanted. A quote would have took them 10 minutes. I'll be installing my new meter box doors next week from another company. Good thing I didn't hold my breath. Never will I chase someone or some company to give them my money. Such a waste of time.
 
Thank you sir. Appreciate that. I will keep that in mind for future. I ended up buying the doors from coleman and building them my self which is what I was trying to avoid.

I am still waiting on a reply for a pump stand quote from 3 months ago. I will probably look elsewhere. I don't know why they spend so much on advertising if they won't return calls or emails anyways. Its a shame. Some of their stuff looks pretty good. Its to bad you can't purchase it unless you want to chase them down and call them 15 times.

If they dont even care about taking our money then I can only imagine what there tech support is like.

Sparky, if you have not bought your pumping rack yet. Contact DWS at 1-870-862-3468 and they will be glad to quote you a Smart Rack system VFD and tankless on both chemical and water
 
Sorry to say not . Other things have taken priority like equipment orders.

That's really how the carwash business is getting these small companies getting bought up by the big companies it sucks .Hope Etowah gets it together.
I hear you and understand the sentiment. That said in the ten years I have been in the industry they have been this way for almost all. On the flip side KR does save some solid brands that were just mismanaged into the ground. They are very different than the way Amazon operates who just steals every good product idea to private label it or encourage the Chinese outsourcing firms to cut out their American client so the price can be driven towards zero. Not changing anytime soon even with tariffs.
 
Waiting for Kleen Rite to buy them and operate them as a normal company with customer support.
Soon KR will be the sonny's of self serve if they keep buying everything. Have you seen sonny's price increases over the last few years with their almost monopoly in so many areas of the tunnel sector? As 1 example, basically anything related to hydraflex injectors
