How easy is it to pull out the nozzle from the hose? Does it still swivel inside the hose or does it really not need to swivel? I got some of the one pice swivel cuffs with the insertable nut...Haven't had a chance to work with them yet, but thinking it might just be the same PITA as the 2 piece...
My procon pump or booster pump for production is a Fluid O Tech P0301V which is about 1.8gpm and has a built in regulator that I set pressure on the membrane to 180-190psi. Then I control Permeate and Concentration from another valve by changing the amount of concentrate or bypass...If I were to...
You have my interest! Can you explain the "Why's" and the benefits of different membranes at different pressures? Does a membrane have to run at the advised inlet pressure? My system is set to run at 190 psi where Permeate and Concentration are supposed to flow about the same at .9 gpm....Its...
Has anyone purchased RO membranes from the online company Allfilters.com? They advertise a little more production for the same size filter than Filmtech or some of the other brands at only half the pressure. My system runs at 190psi and they say they get more production at 100psi. I don't know...
Thanks for the info! You'd think it would be easier than this! I just ordered some of the 2 piece design and will give them a shot...Good idea on riveting the nut to the hose before inserting it into the cuff...Do you have any issues with hair or whatever hanging up on the rivet?? In the video...
I'm going to revive an old thread I must have missed....Recently I've been pulling my hair out with the 2" one piece swivel cuffs. It doesn't take long and the swivel joint fills up with crud and it locks up. When that happens, the cuff usually spins off the hose...I'm constantly screwing the...
Yes, thats how you adjust pressure. You are basically increasing pressure on the "Spring Washers" inside the regulator that in turn regulates bypass pressure. I like to set pressure by pulling the wand trigger in the bay and then setting pressure with the pump running.
Exactly!!! Your pits will fill up quicker too! So keep an eye on them....I have shallow pits that I generally shovel out once a month...Did it this morning after only 2 weeks and they were more full than a normal month! Hard to get done when cars are lining up to the bays, even on a Tuesday...
All good information on flojets untill you have an issue and you go through a full bucket of chemical like others have warned. Then you'll want to add this to ONLY turn on the air when someone selects a low pressure function in the bay....
Thankful we have a Platform "X" that we can get real news and that people in charge actually monitor!!! I doubt you hear anything about this in the MSM! Yes, Thank You Elon for everything you are doing to uncover the massive corruption!
Just curious how powering the bay down in the winter triggers the weep system? I have individual switches on my LED 7's and a ball valve on each bay for the weep. That way I can close as many bays as I want without affecting the bays still in service....Keep in mind, I also have individual ball...
