Can you elaborate a little? What is a lot of money and what are you spending it on? You say one of your bays so does that mean you have multiple machines? What year are they?
They dont use the same materials they used to. Many years ago they were great. Recently the plastic overlay seems they went cheap on and peels within months which looks like shit. I went with local sign company for my new meter box decals about 6 months ago instead of STA at I think $60 a piece...
Thats the nice thing about cryptopay. No need for any coin counting. Hook up the two gray wires to your coin acceptor and get an accurate revenue down to the quarter. Nothing is more accurate and less time consuming than that for figuring gross revenue with coins and/or credit.
This is who I buy my machines from. Great people and great vending machines. My oldest machine is prolly 6 years old and has done nothing but collect money and dispense products.
Please post a link of the 100ft hose from kleen rite thats $300. I also wouldn't call a swivel much cheaper until you use it and see how long it lasts.
Tapcons rust and corrode. When you go take them out in year or two they will either come out or the heads will snap off. Trust me plastic anchors and stainless screws is the only way to go in a car wash. Way cleaner looking. Try some you won’t be disappointed. You’ll probably end up replacing...
You are my favorite groupie. Every post you make is covered in your bias and targeted at me. You have yet to contribute one helpful thing on this forum.
Weep in a SS bay is different then an auto. It’s not the wands that freeze in an auto but the rails the machines ride on. You should consult...
Replacing a $200-$400 hopper that last years and years if bought brand new is a normal expense for the industry. Thats wild you would shut down your changer over that small expense. Giant inconvenience for your paying customers IMO. If it works for you then great and good luck.
Wow what a pain. I think if water is the issue for me it's because the chip reader is horizontal so water can pool up in there. The old ingenicos which I "thought" sucked the chip reader was vertical so nothing will collect. Im starting to think them old ingenious were not so bad. Good luck to...
Roz I may have spoke to soon. Ive had 2 ID techs fail within last week. Going to test my others tomorrow. Will not read chip but still accept tap/swipe. Both are less than 6 months old. Called Hamilton and they will replace them but also stated they are in current talks with ID Tech because...
It will take time and not happen over night. 5CPD is really low though. Did you end up changing anything to make it more visible from the street? You could always change your road sign to include TOUCHLESS CAR WASH OPEN 24/7 somewhere on it. Id also put signs in each of your SS bays near the...
You could definitely do less passes but I don’t want the wash so quick that a customer does not feel like they are getting their moneys worth. I also like to start my chemicals front to back.
That is the top wash and I would guess probably about 14 gallons a HP pass. Passes are only about...
Yes radiant heat is a must. I have radiant heat, machine/rail heat, floor heat, and heat tape on door tracks. All of it is just insurance for not IF but when something happens. Unfortunately though without doors working radiant heat will do nothing.
I’ll attach a pic that shows the inside of a...
