Just the bottom "cutter assembly". When you release the blue lever the bottom half folds down that holds the receipt paper. The "cutter assembly" is attached to the front of that.
Looking for a cutter head assembly for a Goldline thermal printer. I called Hamilton and they said my printer is obsolete (2014) but they'll gladly sell me a new printer for a $1000. Thanks in advance.
We just got shut down in Michigan today for three weeks (or longer). I'm shutting down my SS bays and vacs but leaving my automatics running. My thought on the self serve is if an infected person comes into wash they are going to have germs on their hands which will get transferred onto the gun...
Does anyone know where you can purchase replacement circuit boards for the MARS validator? Mine work great until the bottom validator board gets corroded from condensation and/or bay over spray. I can change them in-bay in about three minutes and save myself $90 plus $30 round trip shipping to...
I had a competing wash just down the road from mine that was failing about 10 years ago. It was purchased at a steep discount to replacement cost. The new owner slapped a coat of paint on the building and dropped the SS bays to $1 and the automatic to $3 to low ball the competition. He...
Did my lot about seven or eight years ago. It looked good for about two months and cost about $2800 for 24000 sq. ft. Biggest waste of money ever. Do yourself a favor and save your money and just repave when it gets too bad. That's my plan.
Don't buy this wash. If this wash does this kind of volume then you need to be available 24/7. When a automatic breaks down at 10 a.m. you need to be available at 10:01 a.m. to fix not 5:00p.m. If not your revenue numbers will take a huge hit.
My best deal for any and all customers is 50% off when you buy 100 car washes at my automatic bays. My basic wash costs $5.00 so that is $250 up front to me. I have a car dealer down the road from my wash that I sell 200 washes for $2.00 each. They bring a check and I hand them the washes...
I would have to agree with this. Will this arrangement bring YOU more customers? Is the extra rental revenue worth the liability, traffic congestion and garbage the arrangement will create? I would stick to washing cars. A lot of customers are too confused as it is when they pull on to my lot.
I have said this same exact thing for years. It truly is disgusting what comes out of some of these people's vehicles, wouldn't want to see their house!
The easiest way to fix this problem (if your not using token notes) is replace it with a mars validator. You will never have a bill acceptor problen again.
This is a good thread because I ask myself this question every day. I built my first wash (a 4 and 2) in 2003 and my second wash in 2014 (a 3 and 1 with dog wash) both in the same town with no competition. Both locations are doing quite well and produce a nice profit. My problem is how do I...
