    Stuck nylon nut

It will work, the steel threads are stripped, the nylon is what's holding on. It has to be very hot to melt the nylon which could damage anything that is too close.

Anyone repair their own motors? (Start switches, bearings, etc)

If they're anything like the motor shops I deal with, they're so busy they don't mind still making money on the parts and not having to actually do the repairs. I'm sure they'd rather have some of your business rather than none. Especially if they know you're still going to bring them motors...

The motor shop you've been using can tell you and would probably sell you the parts too.

    Stuck nylon nut

If you can get it hot enough to melt the plastic out without damaging anything else, it should come right off

    Lost License Plates

I get quite a few in the automatic. I can easily search them from my LPR and contact the customer. Unless they paid with cash then I have no way to find or contact them. The police use my wash so I just turn them over when one of them comes through.

Free Vacs VS. Free vacs with membership

When I first opened, people were constantly pulling up to the vacuums, unloading armfuls of trash, then going to use the vacuum and discovering they weren't free. They would leave without ever even looking to use the wash. Once they figured out I didn't have free vacuums, they stopped coming...

Nayax question? Ask Harry the Nayax Expert

Call support don't use email. They emailed me and said it would be a couple of days, I then called and she fixed it in a few minutes while I was on the phone.

BBB Contacted me over Wash Club Memberships

I would refund the money for the second month she has not used. No, I would not refund the original charge for the pass that she has already used.

BBB Contacted me over Wash Club Memberships

It's easy enough to cancel a membership and issue a refund to make a customer happy. If somebody doesn't want to continue their membership, that's fine I'd rather they were paying full price for their washes anyway. Keep them happy and coming back at full price.

I think you just answered your own question. You get what you pay for.

    Cash Counting Machines

The bank usually has to run bills 2 or 3 times to match my count. I'd never trust their machine to do the counting.

    Dencar Retrofit Door Paystation

I have a Dencar, it's a good system, occasional issues but, overall I've been happy with it.

Inherited CarWash with purchase of a lube shop

Mine are about 18 months old, I just replaced all of them last week. Two were still good but I replaced them anyway.

    Nayax MDB to Pulse Isolator

Nayax doesn't need a converter, it just has to be programmed for pulse instead of MDB.
