forced to put an air vent in control room were water heater is in Ontario Canada

The vent to the attic space doesn't qualify as combustion air because it is still inside the building. The contractor is required to advise you of the combustion air requirement because it is code and they are responsible if you suffer carbon monoxide poisoning. If they advised you and you don't...

Would you rather own a express/full service or a 4+2?

At this point, I don't want to deal with employees. If I was going to build another wash, it would be a dual long bay touches and no self serve.

Dry brush washers. I can’t keep doing this

Interesting, might be worth a try. Kind of suspect you'd just be adding a new problem but it might actually work.

Dry brush washers. I can’t keep doing this

I had one throw a fit because I asked him not to throw the foam brush on the ground. There's nothing you can do but, remain calm and ask them not to abuse your property. don't think people pay a lot of attention to those social media posts anymore. There's so many of them most people see them...

So what would you do (self serve bay abuse)

I would email his office, "We appreciate your business but, please do not leave a mess like this again." and attach the video. He'll either be embarrassed by his staff seeing his behavior or pissed that you outed him, either way he'll know he's on camera and you won't accept his disrespect.

Anyone repair their own motors? (Start switches, bearings, etc)

it should fit snug but not so tight that it would break putting it on. I would show it to your motor guy and ask him about it.

Anyone repair their own motors? (Start switches, bearings, etc)

Are you sure you have the right parts for your motor? Is there a burr or something on the shaft?

    Dencar Virtual Kiosk

Has anyone installed these or heard of anyone using them. Curious to know how they're working out.

    Stuck nylon nut

It will work, the steel threads are stripped, the nylon is what's holding on. It has to be very hot to melt the nylon which could damage anything that is too close.

Anyone repair their own motors? (Start switches, bearings, etc)

If they're anything like the motor shops I deal with, they're so busy they don't mind still making money on the parts and not having to actually do the repairs. I'm sure they'd rather have some of your business rather than none. Especially if they know you're still going to bring them motors...

The motor shop you've been using can tell you and would probably sell you the parts too.

    Stuck nylon nut

If you can get it hot enough to melt the plastic out without damaging anything else, it should come right off

    Lost License Plates

I get quite a few in the automatic. I can easily search them from my LPR and contact the customer. Unless they paid with cash then I have no way to find or contact them. The police use my wash so I just turn them over when one of them comes through.
