I recently purchased another car wash. It has a Standard Changer Model MC500-RL-DA. I was looking for a way to remotely monitor the money deposited/coins dispensed. Read about the EF+ module, it appears you have to buy two of these for this changer and they are $650. Have you seen a cheaper way...
Wash analytics is prob the best thing I’ve installed to assist with monitoring and keeping track of income. From a business perspective, this is what gives value to the business owner when they go to sell or want to do a business loan. If I want to sell my wash for top dollar and not be stuck in...
What ended up being the problem with your changer?
my machine is 18 months old. Just loaded it and went to check it out, it would give 4-7 quarters for a $1. Cleaned everything and very inconsistent in number of quarters given per $1.
are you implying you don’t deposit any? Cost me $4.95 with wells Fargo.
I’m not about to spend time rolling quarters to save $5. Bring a bag of $1k in quarters every 4-5 weeks.
Wells Fargo takes them. Business account for my wash is with them. They have to register you to deposit coins. I bring them in a sealed plastic bank bag. Tell them about how much I have. They send it off with other deposits and verify. Cost $4.95 each time.
Interesting to hear about “debit only” cards. In all honesty the only people I saw with issues paying with debit cards, were people whose cards were declined for inadequate funds. This is bc mine were count up and had a $20 preauthorization.
Best of luck with whatever cc solution you implement.
It does provide that. I really see people appreciate the advancements in technology.
LED 7 is archaic. Ntm I’ve had 3 LED 7 timers burn up in the past 18 mo.
good to know. When I acquire my next wash, I’ll definitely take you up on that deal.
I acquired my first wash 3 years ago. It’s was a complete dump. Between self education and this forum my 4 bay has transitioned into something I never could have imagined. One thing I can say, CC is a must now...
Hello, I am actively looking for an off market self serve car wash to purchase in the Houston Metro area. Please send a direct message to me or reply on this post. Would love to see what you have and if we can find common ground on some terms.
thank you,
Matt
I didn’t buy the covers for the motors. Diskin said they were only for aesthetics. But I actually like the industrial appeal. Didn’t do the roof just bc I figured it couldn’t be the best for those motors to be sitting in the elements when it’s 110 during the summer, despite what they said. Also...
