Sorry guys,
I cleaned the old coin acceptor and it started working much better so I wasn't in a huge rush to get it fixed. I did get the nut off. I took a Dremel with a cutting bit and cut it off. I did damage the threads slightly towards the bottom of the stud but I just got a small spacer and...
The stud isn't spinning, just the nut. I started out with a socket which is what I've always used. After that I tried some needle nose pliers so I could grab it and pull up on it with some upward force while spinning and that didn't work. I also tried wedging a small screwdriver underneath it...
I need help. I’m trying to replace a coin acceptor but I can get this nut off. It’s just spinning around the nylon insert. I’ve tried to put upward pressure on it, I’ve tried heating it. I don’t know what else to do. The stud on the other side is already broke off or I would just break this on.
That was my concern with screwing them. I’d much rather lose a hose than a boom. Not sure if the hose would tear if a car hooked it or if it would damage the boom?
My hoses keep disconnecting/falling out of the swivels on the booms. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you glue them, screw them, etc to the swivels?
I’ve already replaced one of these contactors bc it was faulty upon arrival. It also was a square D. My voltage coming in is good. The contactor won’t trip when power is called for. When I try to manual activate by pushing in the little square it feels like it’s got resistance on it. It will...
I did the same with the booms. All the way through the wall with a backing plate.
was just curious if you mounted the motors the same way or just used wedge anchors? I’m not opposed to going through the wall but it would have to source a backing plate or I may just use large washers.
How did you guys anchor these in block walls? Did you go all the way through the wall with carriage bolts and washers or did you use the wedge anchors like suggested by Diskins?
