We used to be $8, $12, $16, $20. In the beginning, a lot of people told us to narrow that gap but funny enough, our top 2 packages (now $18 and $22) have always been our most purchased packages (I think a big part of this is the household income here). We are opening up a second location soon...
No announcement. Just did ours at the beginning of January. Had a few comments (mostly from seniors and customers who already used coupons) but haven't had someone really give us a problem. We kept our membership prices the same so no issues there!
Debated on going from 4 to 3 washes but stuck...
We use Sonny's and love it. Extremely simple system and works really well. We used to use RFIDs but with the area we are in and most newer cars having the heated front windshields (blocks RFID tags) we changed over and removed our RFID system. Any specific questions and I'll be happy to answer.
I get it, but I would have figured that other car washes have been collecting this information for some time. What information do you collect from membership customers if any?
So that would be my follow up question then: Does your wash sell memberships? If so, do you collect any contact information or just the customers name? Up until recently, I've only collected names and license plate numbers (we use LPR for memberships). I'm willing to go back to the old way but...
No of course not, but when you sign up for memberships or cards or really anything you generally have to give some form of contact information. Do you sell memberships? If so, what information do you collect? Up until this point I have only ever collected customer names and license plates. I'm...
Hey guys, I just set up my pay stations to require the customer to enter their phone number when purchasing a membership about 2 weeks ago and I have had my managers tell me more often than not that the customer becomes "annoyed" and "refuses" to put their phone number in. My initial thought on...
I just find it interesting that you would charge a fee for giving up camera footage. I'm not going to dedicate a whole shift or several hours to finding footage, but to have myself or one of my managers locate a clip of footage for them (insurance company, police, etc.) I would never think to...
I highly doubt anyone has this issue but figured I'd take a stab at asking anyway.
I have my main vacuum line that runs underground and every winter we have a freezing problem. I assume when the pipe was installed it wasn't correctly sealed so water gets in and freezes in the line. It's not a...
@carwashpope I have the same set up here. It is definitely not easy to keep the full sheet going but here is how I achieve it. First off, I actually have 3 chemical lines and air lines that feed the lava sheet (side note: I used to have a Mr. Foamer lava sheet which just never really got the...
Anyone else having issues with their Sonnys wrap motor failing? Specifically the passenger side?
Been in business almost 5 years and have replaced that motor at least 6 times (under warranty of course) but I am just thinking there has to be a reason that only our passenger side keeps failing.
Never paid for a windshield and never will. It's all about your explanation. Did you explain to her how car windshield glassworks/is made? The amount of force needed to crack a windshield is quite high. Think of when a road pebble hops up and hits your windshield at the speed it does and the...
