I don’t use any of the expandable relays. I have 2 of the X-WR-4R3-I’s and use them to control 3 bays and 2 change machines. I started with one and just played around with it to make sure it worked the way I wanted it to. I’m kind of a trial and error kind of guy. Then added another and the X-408.
I installed Ginsan equipment in 2004. The company that installed it went out of business within a few years. I never had them back out for anything. I’ve had very few Issues with the equipment itself and have always made my own repairs. Over time I’ve upgraded and changed a few things to better...
I also use the Control By Web relay (X-WR-4R3-I) to turn off 24v to the bay meters and toggle the power to the change machines to reset them. I use (X-408) to monitor the status of everything like power outages, water leaks, changer - out of service, bay power tripped, and door open/closed. It...
That was my first thought, but I didn’t notice it until Friday night. That’s normally when my problems occur. Just after closing time for the weekend. I’ll reach out Monday. Thanks
I’m having an issue with the coin cup cycling halfway and stopping. The next customer then inserts coins which bounce off the bottom of the cup and back out of the machine. The product drops, but the coin cup is empty. (Since they bounced off the cup) The cup then spins halfway again to the...
I’m a vote for Ginsan. 17 years old and very few problems. I must have gotten one of the last stands with the GC solenoid valves. I switched them out with Kip. Dan K. is a book of knowledge when you do have problems.
I had a older gentleman wash his car, then proceed to cover it with tri foam. He then rinsed just the windshield and started to leave with the car still covered with foam. I asked him if there was a problem with the equipment and he said no. Thinking he was out of money, I offered to put time on...
I have the same setup as you also in a small town. I’ve had a 4 bay SS, a 3/1, and and oil change place with an automatic all come and go over the years. (All within 1/2 mile) We are once again the only wash in town. Run a great wash, keep everything clean, and interact with your customers...
Thanks guys for the input. Nothing has changed with water quality. I work closely with our local municipality, who also operate wells as part of the city's water system, to check my water periodically. Since this is a small wash, I felt like the problem may be just from a lack of movement in the...
Randy, it's not an issue of having to mix it, I'm just very limited in the equipment room. Right now I'm able to put buckets under the pump stand. Not so with the 15 gal., and I just don't have room for that many larger containers. If I go that route I'll definitely have to mix and then still...
I've tried to review old posts for the answer, but still have some questions. I operate a 3 bay SS and am currently using Blendco products (since 2004), but continually have problems with power solidifying in the lines. I've wanted to make a change for awhile, but need some advice. If I go with...
