    Cat 530 pump oil

Good question. Probably a waste of money, but I am rebuilding a pump due to some water contamination and water leakage. Figured I would just take another hr and change all of them.

    Cat 530 pump oil

I am changing oil for the first time in 20 yrs on my Cat 530 pumps. Busy 6 bay. Why does a High Pressure Cat Pump oil container only have 21 oz when the 530 pump specs says add 25 oz? This is what Kleen Rite sent me. Before anyone goes saying how important it is to change the pump oil, don’t...

    Pressure falls drastically on soap/wax

Greg, Thanks for your response. My soap and wax lines are 1/4” and valves are wide open. No problem drawing chemicals if everything is working correctly. I keep a larger than recommended tip in my hydrominder. I have learned in 30 yrs of carwash ownership the customer subconsciously would...

    CC reader on Hamilton changer

Interesting information that I had not thought of. No tokens involved, just quarters used. Swiping/tapping in each bay looks to be a more viable option. Thanks

    CC reader on Hamilton changer

I have a double rear load Hamilton changer for a 6 bay. Want to add credit/debit card services. Internet being installed next week. I have looked into setup for swipers in bays with controller in equipment room with internet equipment. Seems very simple. I am more interested in just adding a...

    Distance for Foam Generators

I just replaced all my foam generators for the foam brush boom and put them 1 foot away from boom. I also added foam generators and check valves at the center boom for Presoak and Tire cleaner. Works excellent.

Rinse normal, soap and wax selection causes loss of pressure

Greg, Pump works as normal on rinse. Would you agree this proves the pump internals are good and this problem is outside the pump?
