Foam brush soap for HP soap?

Lol! He was probably cutting corners in other areas, besides his soap selection... It's a slippery slope (pun intended!) 😂

    Air Dryer handles flying around

The measurements I posted are for the custom holder. We used a 6" wand holder from Hamel Manufacturing, purchased from Kleen-Rite.

    Air Dryer handles flying around

Custom holder is 7" High x 9" Wide. We went with a larger holder so we could re-use the same holes from Diskin's holder.

    Super Air Shammee 2 Ontario

I have 5 Air Shammee II machines installed at my car wash in Northern California. Too far from you. If you don't hear from anyone on this platform, maybe Diskin Systems could provide a local reference. When I was looking to buy in 2015, they referred me to 2 car washes in the Bay Area. I...

    Vacuum dirt keeps getting robbed

The jerk that was breaking into our canisters was a homeless drug-addict. Im NOT going to trust him with a key. He'd come during the night & use a grinder to cut off the locks. I told one of his friends to have him meet me on Wednesday at 10am to help me empty the cannisters and I'd gladly...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

Cleaning vacuums has got to be one of the DIRTIEST jobs at my car wash, but for me it's the MOST important job! I don't see how vacuum filters coated with mud or thick layer of hair are going to "shake themselves out." It takes a stiff toilet brush to break it loose and pull it out. I clean...

Retro fit or buy 3/5 column electric vendor

In 2014, we upgraded our 6 manual Laurel single column vendors with the electronic retrofit kit. Young customers couldn't figure out how the mechanical pull knobs worked, and sales were dropping. At the same time, we switched from quarters to tokens. We had to run electrical to the vendors...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

Hi Randy, Dave from Doyle said you can use a brush to remove accumulated hair & debris from the pleats, or wipe with your gloved hand, knock them to dislodge loose, fine dust or remove and wash the filters. Even if I do it 2x/week, I think it would create LESS dust blowing towards the bays...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

New washdog, I appreciate your feedback & assessment. I agree that cleaning the OUTSIDE of 2 pleated cartridges has got to be easier than cleaning the INSIDE of 4. If you're looking for a referral to help you make a decision, ask Dave VanGorder, the President of Doyle Vacuums. When I spoke...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

LOL! I have 2 SS carwashes in the next town over that still use these Mark VII vacuums. I reached out to them, and they said they would like to keep for parts and spares. You can't buy replacement fiberglass cannister, lid or filter frames any more. These Mark VII vacuums have served me well...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

Thank you for your feedback Keno & MEP001! I asked the guy who owns a SS car wash up the street from me how often he cleans his vacuum filters and he says "Never, the homeless do it!" He told me he leaves the debris door unlocked and the homeless clean it out. Yeah, right buddy.... :sneaky...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

I'm looking to replace my 40-year old Mark II Vacuums with newer, upright vacuums. I attended the recent ICA Show, looking at IVS and JE Adams. These vacuums use 4 long, fabric filters. Then, I stumbled upon the Doyle Vacuum booth. Instead of 4 vacuum filters, they use 2 pleated cartridge...
