    Credit/Debit Card Importance?

$50 worth of car washing at 12:41am? That seems very strange… Also, please remove these peoples names from your post. That’s not cool at all.

Where to get Rowe high-security faceplates?

One of my changers got broken into last night and I see Rowe makes a high security faceplate with a narrower slot. I have had a hard time getting Rowe parts though - does anyone have any ideas where I could get these? Rowe part 45048010 Any help is appreciated - need to get these ASAP before...

Which change machines hold the most bills?

Thats what I was figuring too. If finding parts to repair them is next to impossible that can’t be a good sign.

Which change machines hold the most bills?

Ah ha! This could be the ticket. Looks like it is slightly wider at 36 inches vs my current 30 inches (I originally thought I had two BC-1400s but then realized I have one BC-2800) but I could probably make that work. Is Rowe still a viable company though? I have had a heck of a time getting...

Which change machines hold the most bills?

We do accept credit cards, and no we don’t dispense quarters, only dollar coins. Pulling the bills and refilling hoppers every day would mean I need to go there every day or trust someone else with the money which I am hesitant to do.

Which change machines hold the most bills?

I am having to empty it out twice a week during the busy times. I would prefer once a week, in case I can’t make it there for more than a few days.

Which change machines hold the most bills?

Update - I was just at the wash - I misremembered, it’s not two BC-1400s, it is a single BC-2800. So it’s about 30 inches wide. To add two of the Hamiltons at 22 inches wide would be an extra 12 inches. I don’t think my wall is wide enough to handle that. Am I out of luck? (for some reason I...

Which change machines hold the most bills?

I do accept $20s, yes. Good question on the size of the space available. I will measure when I go there later today. I know two BC-1400s fit side by side with not much room left on the wall. Looks like the BC-1400 is 18” wide and I have two of them so 36” wide total. So if I could spare an...

Which change machines hold the most bills?

I recently acquired another car wash and it has two Rowe BC-1400 changers (with the Mars conversion kits). They each have the biggest 1000 note stackers and during the busy times those stackers have to be emptied more often than I would prefer. I don’t have much more wall space to add another...

    Electrical problem with spot free

So what would be the right way to wire this up to get it working again?

    Electrical problem with spot free

Is this a poor man’s version of something like an IDX MX10 controller?

    Electrical problem with spot free

My spot free decided to stop working today. After probing around with a voltmeter it seems like one of these resistors (? Edit: googling the markings, might be “bridge rectifiers” whatever that is?) might be the issue. I am getting 24v on the left side but nothing on the right side when it goes...

Where to buy LED modules for Dixmor 2000-2?

I have some LED modules that have burned out and need to be replaced. I bought the modules from Dixmor before but they are currently out of stock. I found an older post on here with a product on mouser.com but I bought them and they are not the right size. Anyone know where I can buy more of these?

Need Help. Please. I own a Reverse Osmosis Machine from 1989

Ok then it’s like MEP001 said, it’s likely the solenoid on the incoming water supply that is bad and letting water through even when it’s off.

Need Help. Please. I own a Reverse Osmosis Machine from 1989

The float at the top tells the system when the tank is full and to stop adding product. The float at the bottom tells the system that sends the water to the bays to shut off if the water level gets too low so you don’t damage the pump. Is your RO system running when this water continually...

    Contemplating going Cashless?

For those of you with 50%+ credit card sales, do you charge the same minimum amount for cash or cards? My locations have higher credit card minimums ($5) to keep the fees lower.

Possible to repair severely vandalized vacuum meter box?

Excellent advice - thank you! If it can be bolted on that would be MUCH easier than finding someone to weld the stainless steel. I will call JE Adams tomorrow.

Possible to repair severely vandalized vacuum meter box?

More fun at the car wash. Some genius spent several hours over two separate days breaking into one of my vacuums and severely damaged the meter box and faceplate (and got maybe $5 if he was lucky since I had just emptied it). I am hoping it might be possible to cut this damaged one off and...

Solenoids for corrosive lo-ph triple foam? (And product suggestions?)

Something else I just thought of - if I switch to a polish or wax (one of the JBS products, for example), will it still foam well? I would like the customer to have a good show. Any pictures or videos of some of these products would be great if anyone has some!

Solenoids for corrosive lo-ph triple foam? (And product suggestions?)

I see KR has several different ones: “Glow Foam Polish”, “Glow Foam Wax”, and then “Glow Foam Ceramic Finish” (but that last one says it’s for automatics). What’s the difference between the polish and the wax?
