Diskin Air Shamee II Boom Recomendation

I use the rubber elbows and they work great - still have the original ones I put on 1-2 years ago and no problems

    Mixed denomination Bill Counter

Where do you get yours serviced? I use a local independent guy and about every 3 years he does a full overhaul that costs about $700-800. Wondering if I am way overpaying...

What function should I add to my bays?

Air Shammee hands down. It will pay for itself very quickly, doesn’t use any chemicals, and only costs a bit of electricity to run. Customers love it.

    Cameras and security systems

How are you viewing the video? There are two streams - Main Stream, and Sub Stream. The main one is full resolution, the sub stream is lower resolution to stream faster. If you’re looking at the cameras from a phone app you will see the lower resolution stream (unless you specifically switch to...

    Cameras and security systems

I have the same system and I have been able to get license plates plenty of times. All depends where you mount the cameras and at what angles. Are you sure you’re viewing the full 4K video? I can almost read my bay instruction signs from mine...

    Mixed denomination Bill Counter

Correct, each time you put a stack of bills through, it will count one denomination in the top pocket, and reject the rest in the second pocket. And it will stop at the strap limit so you can easily strap the bills. For example if you put in a big stack of mixed bills and the first one is a $1...

    Mixed denomination Bill Counter

Get a Cummins 2 pocket counter/sorter. About $2k used but fastest way to count and sort bills. Hard to believe some people do it by hand - your time is valuable, spend the money for a machine that can do it much quicker and more reliably.

Why is Kleen-Rite Shipping so much?

Update to my original post: the shipping estimate when I placed the online order was $20.xx. Just got the invoice and it ended up being $24.xx. Still reasonable for a 32lb box. And this is going to a commercial address (my mailbox store)

Why is Kleen-Rite Shipping so much?

Just curious - did you place the order online? If so, is that what the shipping estimate said before you placed the order? I just ordered quite a bit of items and the shipping estimate was around $20, and that was for one large box weighing 32lbs (certainly more than your 5 hoses). Also how far...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

So it turns out the type of weep gun I had was causing the pressure drop whenever the trigger was released. For some reason the Giant brand guns were causing the problem (I tried two brand new ones and both did the same thing). The Kleen Rite brand guns worked much better. Still don’t quite...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

Correct - weep guns. We have the same unloaders on all other pumps and they work fine. But you could be right, this one might just be bad. I have a few other new ones on hand, I will try another one.

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

There is a valve to shut off the water supply from the manifold if that’s what you mean? It is wide open now. I am kind of wondering if the lack of check valve on the out port could be the issue? I noticed all other bays have that except for this one. Maybe when the pump trigger is closed, the...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

Just replaced the supply hose with a new section. Might have helped a bit but hard to tell. I am now wondering if it’s ok and I am making it seem worse than it really is? Here are some videos. The first one shows the much smoother pump next to it, followed by the new rougher pump. The second...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

I am sort of thinking you are right about starving it for water. The two are plumbed the same, except the feed hose for this new one is slightly old and bent/flat a bit. I did try squeezing it to make it perfectly round while the pump was running though and that didn’t seem to make a difference...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

They are gravity fed through a holding tank that sits above the pumps. Not sure about the wax or rinse soap behavior, I will check that today when I go shortly. My guess is probably the same behavior since the only difference is the chemical gets added to the water supply when the solenoid...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

I am currently thinking that the banging of the unloader when the gun trigger is released could be because the locking nuts in the unloader are not in the right position - could that make sense? The unloader was originally not allowing me to set the pressure high enough so I took the handle off...

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

Yes, I did. I also put some drops of oil in the three holes but then when I read the instructions it said to not do that at first, but it was too late. I don’t think that could be causing the problem but maybe?

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

I had an older pump that I thought was on its last legs, so I just replaced it with a brand new Cat 310 and new unloader. After hooking it all up and turning it on, it runs fairly rough. Not extremely rough but not smooth (I can compare it to the pump right next to it and it runs much smoother)...

    Self server air dryers
