I unscrewed the stem and the nipple underneath seemed fine. Replaced the stem just for fun with no luck. Guess it must be the valve seat. Didn't get to check it as it was over 110 degrees in that ER.
The large holding tank for my OHD keeps overflowing so that water continuously runs in the overflow pipe and into the bay. In the past, I found the diaphragm on the 1 1/4" solenoid to be defective and replacing it fixed the issue. Today I took it apart and it looked fine, but I replaced it...
I think your assessment is correct. I have a slow site, so I think I would rather go with a 3 brush that is slower but cleans better over a faster 5 brush. Wish I had lines, but that's not an issue, so might as well clean the best.
I was finally able to use a Profile last week and it cleaned great. Washing my van, my Softgloss never did a great job on the back. With the profile the back was very clean other than a small area to the right and left of the license plate. Only concern I have is that it seemed to take way too...
I need to have banner made and they are just expensive locally. Anyone recommend a good online site that makes banners? I see a few, but haven't dealt with any of them.
Thanks.
I did put some PB Blaster on the flags and got them loose and it's dropping again. Haven't change the mac valve yet though. Where are the photo eyes? I have another bay that the follower wont' drop and oiling the flags didn't help.
Well I would find it just all the way down about once per day but it worked fine otherwise (automatically raised/lowered). But today, it just stays up after a wash and won't even drop. Usually that is a stuck flag issue, but with the previous issues of staying down randomly, I'm confused.
I figured it was the mac valve. It is annoying to change as you have to room other items to get it loose. Starting today the follower won't drop at all now.
A few days ago I got to my wash and noticed the follower for one of my IBA dryers was down. Usually that means I have an air leak and there is not enough pressure to hold it up. I couldn't find any leaks, so I pushed it up by hand and it clicked on the way up and stayed in position. Worked...
It can be used to put down Carnauba instead of Polish in the TF. It's also another way to keep up with the express washes since they all have it. Also another money maker. I charge $2 for mine as part of the package or you can add it for $2
For $27 I'll just replace it, takes 2 minutes. I did waste $6 trying to repair it, but had to try lol. Still much cheaper than the other valves and very easy to replace.
Anyone had luck repairing this valve? The whole valve is cheap so it's not a huge deal, but I just had one fail and putting in the repair kit didn't fix it. I ended up putting on a spare. There are not many parts to it, so not sure why replacing the diaphragm and plastic ring around it didn't...
