Ok, you'll have to figure out why you are getting a run switch off message if your switch is in the run position, then continue troubleshooting. That could be your whole problem. A quick test would be to bypass the switch temporarily to determine if a bad switch is your issue.

This sounds like a recipe for disaster - especiallyin lower income markets. Is there not a way to do the opposite - Decline on no contact?

Is your run switch in the run position? Maybe your run switch went bad? Looks like PLC shows error and alarm ligh on. Have you tried power cycling to reset?

Really like this idea, we don't get enough cold days to justify a system like this in GA, but this would be a good choice if we were somewhere colder. This would probably be a very energy efficient method for freeze protection.

Uline carries in different thicknesses, probably available on amazon and ebay too. The clear stuff they use to wrap case pack bottles and other goods would probably be a good thickness and look good.

What is your max limit on card? I would set pre-auth to that amount to eliminate that as a possibility of your troubles.

Have you thought of using an industrial type heat shrink? Would probably give the same protection and look much cleaner.

The model of Mars validator will determine denominations it will accept. I would take 10s and 20s and see if there is actually changer abuse at your location. Changer abuse is definitely location dependent.

What is your pre-auth amount set at? If it's too low and still starts the bay, customers will find out and take advantage. There was a guy who was using a prepaid gift card locally that never had enough $, and was getting free washes for years before getting caught
