Anybody using a Barrier Gate for their IBA with a Hamilton ACW paystation?

This unit doesn't have door controls, it was an add on module that wasn't purchsed when new. I was thinking about using the wash trigger and stop light with a 5 sec delay to make sure they are on the treadle and don't need to shift around. How did you get around the drive forward light turning...

    Garbage Remotes for Dixmor Timers

You don't have to do anything special. Follow the included directions to program your 4 digit code to one of the number buttons. Then its the same as using any other remote with the dixmor. Power button - your 1 button will shoot your 4 digit code to the timer - power again to start wash down -...

Anybody using a Barrier Gate for their IBA with a Hamilton ACW paystation?

We are about to replace our damaged touch free IBA - was damaged by a non-customer driving through the bay and hitting the machine. Would like to put a gate in front similar to a tunnel wash that opens once a wash is paid for to hopefully prevent a future incident. We had people driving through...

Lost keys to Medeco T-Handle Lock

I like the idea of sacrificial steel plate and locks. We have the round safe head vaults with medeco plug locks. Any ideas on how we could implement your idea on something like that?

    Double float valves

Maybe you can use a Madison float switch attached to solenoids if space is an issue. Or use 1 float valve and 1 float switch

    Nayax Old

While you can legally charge a cc surcharge now - or call it a cash discount to be on the safer side, I wouldn't do anything to discourage customers from using cc. Cc customers have a way higher average ticket than cash/coin at our washes. I want to encourage cc use for the higher time use and...

Need all new equipment, everything !! Bought a closed down car wash in Pasadena, Texas

Make sure the city/ county will let you reopen. Lot of places trying to get rid of SS washes and won't give a new biz license if the location was closed for a certain period of time.

New motors, I can replace both motors way quicker than brushes. And you can definitely feel the power difference with new motors.

    GinSan GS31 Display Timer Replacement

I don't think there is a "drop-in" replacement for the GS-31. @Dan kamsickas will know, hopefully he'll chime in soon. Or just call Ginsan directly, they'll be able to help you out.

    Garbage Remotes for Dixmor Timers

Yep, that's the one, those are the 2 main reasons I like that remote. 1 button code sends and hard to lose due to color

    Crytptopay/WorldPay

I'm pretty sure that there is some language in pci standards about swipe transactions automatically losing charge backs. I think this went in place in 2014 or 15. Hazy since it's been some time, but we had to update all our cc terminals to chip at our liquor stores at that time.

Might be worth having a local fabricator/welder or 2 come out to see what they would charge to build your stand or brackets.

    Graphene

So is there a point of using both ceramic and graphene? Seems like graphene has all the characteristics of ceramic plus more? We will probably eventually switch to graphene, once the buzzword gets more mainstream. Trying to understand what's best practice without wasting chemicals
