2506 here too...I weep 16-20 oz a minute and have never had a freezeup after insulating the trough and installing electric heat tape.

I recently added Super Nova and Carabean Colada when I installed my AMS vendor. I now vend 10 flavors. Too early to tell how well they will do. I added Rose Thorn a few years ago in my drop shelf vendor and it does well too. Guessing third best seller.

Sounds like a bad switch contact when on rinse, if soap is working ok? They both share the same feed/wire back to the motor starter coil.

I just laid mine on top of all the hoses. My hoses are in a 5-6" thin wall PVC pipe. The previous owners just had holes cut in the pipe where the hoses entered and exited! What a pain that was to pull any new hoses. So I cut a 2" wide slot in the top of the trough to make it easy to work on...

Same here on the winter guard wet in an insullated trough....I've had it installed for over 10 years and miraculously all my freezeups went away! The trough loop was already there, so I left it hooked up. It doesn't really steal from the slab since there is very little heat loss on that loop.

My Takagi T-H3-DV-N is rated for 10gpm....Like you state, thats with only a 40° rise. One thing you left out of the equation is inlet pressure. The manual states it needs at least 40psi inlet pressure to get maximum flow rates (debatable). I have 40psi feeding mine and I get 6.6gpm at 105° set...

Amazon has them pretty cheap. I've used them on quite a few projects over the years. Might be better than destroying the lock...

I soften all water to zero grains except for weep water. Makes a huge difference on chemical usage.

I have Led 7's that are over 20 years old and don't think I've ever had one fail. Like others have suggested, don't overload the timer and check voltage in the ER AND inside the meter box to make sure its in the right range and you are not getting voltage drops.
