    Double float valves

I just slid my lid back. The valve takes up about 4-5" in the corner and you don't have to worry about a float. I'll snap a photo when I go up there today....I'll be able to get rid of this valve when I install my 1.5" softener...Head pressure goes from 20psi for the 1"to about 4 psi with the...

    Nayax Old

Thanks for the response, but you didn't address the same ratio per minute for CC sales v/s cash sales? Does it have to be equal?

    Double float valves

Ourtown, I basically just did the same thing with my cold water gravity tank....This winter has been rough with a lot of water main breaks and lower water pressures. With the 1" softener I currently have installed, it creates even more head pressure that minimizes flow at lower pressures. What I...

    Nayax Old

This has probably been asked before but not in this thread and I can't seem to find the answer....Do you have to charge the same dollar amount ratio per minute for CC transactions as you do for cash sales...For instance, If I were to choose preset bay prices with $5.00 minimum to get the cheaper...

    Mosmatic Swivels

Ditto what Randy said! Once I changed to the much cheaper Dema Foot Vlaves, I can't remember the last time I had one fail....Years ago! They use a SS ball, SS spring, and an Oring while the blue and gray expensive ones just use a flat washer and sealing surface. I've got a handfull of Blue and...

    Nayax Old

After reading this post by dbcknghm, it makes me wonder if anyone has had any issues with Nayax accepting debit cards or Prepaid Visa/MC? If so, is it only in count up mode because of the "Hold" placed on the card?? Or maybe no issue?? I can see benefits to both arguments with count up v/s...

    Pit Mud Bucket Lift

No video! Its about as simple as it gets...Its a boat winch, so it has a ratchet stop on it. Crank the bucket up, swivel to above the dumpster and dump it! Are you kidding?! Its about a full time job keeping the newbs at Domino's from dumping their garbage in my dumpster. I've tried to get the...

    Pit Mud Bucket Lift

Since a lot of the owners on this site are getting older, I thought I would share some photos of a “Thingy” (inside Joke) I made to help save my back! About a month ago when cleaning pits, I hurt my back lifting the heavy buckets of mud up and dumping them into my 2 cu yd dumpster. To clarify, I...

    Hot water heater 100% required?

I agree with HeyVern! Maybe you could approach the owner with a lease to buy contract or outright purchase...You might be able to pick it up reasonably cheap. I was in manufacturing for 43 years, starting out as a machinist. The last 17 years I spent in Engineering with Project Management...

Light shadowing in self serve bays

BTW, I'm not sure you want your fixtures angled down towards the vehicle...You want the light to reflect off all those white panels, even the ceiling!

Light shadowing in self serve bays

You might try lower wattage fixtures and put 4 lights in per bay....My last lighting upgrade uses (4) 3 bulb 48" T8 LED IP65 fixtures with 5-6000K bulbs...12 bulbs per bay...I think about 2000 lumen per bulb or 24000 lumen per bay. Not quite the total lumens you have, but worked well for...

no 24 V power to my foam brush selonoid! Any ideas?

That is the reason for adding methanol to your foam brush soap, so it won't freeze below 32°. So yes, methanol allows you to keep the foam brush operational in the winter.

Another tankless water heater replacing boiler thread

Not quite the way I remember it!!! See link below and post #27 is where I mention cleaning the system and the small filter screen in the Takagi...I did not replace the filter screen with anything bigger...I just cleaned it and reinstalled it. What I did was put a 5 micron filter inline using the...

no 24 V power to my foam brush selonoid! Any ideas?

Sounds like you have the dreaded Mark VII system? Or at least one thats similar?? The WEEPER solenoids you refer to shuts weep water off to a bay foam brush to keep from diluting the mixture when in use...Or at least thats how Mark VII designed their system...These valves are NO (Normally Open)...
