I follow ScottHD on you tube. He independently tests ceramic and graphene coatings. You might want to watch a few of his test to determine which ones are snake oil and which ones are the real deal.
Minimum would be 1/8 inch per foot drop I think most car washes are 1/4 inch per foot drop. I have one that is more and it is easier to clean but people really notice the slope. Last wash I built the cement guys did not want the heat loops tied to the rebar so I had to put down wire mesh for the...
Waxman to get to the order notes a window will pop up with redeeming points for free freight etc. scroll down to the bottom of that window and the order notes will come up. You can click on it and add your notes.
I explain to bucket washers that the city and my insurance does not allow off site chemicals to be brought in and used. I become liable for it when it happens. I also point to the 3 signs per bay I have that says No bucket washing. A local sewer authority was hit by some illegal chemicals being...
The boom mount should have a natural tilt to it so the boom always returns one side. Some had a Derlin washer between the boom and the boom mount. You can pick them up at a hardware store. It will lessen friction and help the boom return.
Car wash air pumps don't need 150 PSI most run under 100 PSI. Get a continuos duty rated unit. My family was in the tire business for 40 years. We used a lot of compressors. We always choice Quincy or INgersol Rand continous DUty. We had many that the 40 years we were in business.
1/8 would be fine. If you live in a area where people like to scratch words etc. into panel FRP might be a better choice since it is harder surface. You may be able to spot melt polymax to get rid of scrathchers marks but I have never had to try this.
I have had it in 2 of my automatic bays since 2003 and it looks great. Cleans easy with a solution of muratic acid and water. Still white with no fading.
Environmental impact studies look into the entire history of the property. That is why most banks want a study done. They don't want to lend money and then find out later they could be on the hook if the owner walks away from a problem. It will also protect the current selling owner if they...
Palomas come with a restrictor valve on the inlet side. I removed those valves on all of mine so they will flow a bit more water. My palomas were always plumbed in 1 per bay so I had a solenoid that opened for each one as that bay was called for.
You could use simoniz MC Plus liquid from KR. It is a booster with added cleaning power. I use it through a dual injector since some chemicals wont stay mixed with Correct. It adds butyl and dilimolene along with foqm.
I buy the cotton glove liners in bulk about .99 cents a pair. If they get wet I grab another pair. These keep my hands warmer than insulated leather gloves. I only have to deal with -20 degrees F though.
I have had good luck with Polymax panels from Farm tech. They are smooth and would be suseptible to scratchers if you live in an area where that is a thing.
