    Do You Post Political Signs?

Are you sure you & some others don't need to do some proper "First Amendment" research???!!!

    Cat 310 pump Motor

When we did a major rebuild back in 1987 ... one of the best things (maintenance wise) we did ... was have the utility company provide us with 3 phase power along with going to 3 phase 3HP motors for our Cat 310s.

    Do You Post Political Signs?

IMHO ... We need to be vigilant from unconsciously (brainwashed into) allowing the "government elected" entities being the church of "no after-life & consequences ... only happen if legal minutia is not 100% met by whoever" & the also the church of "selective & grossly uneven" legal enforcement...

    Do You Post Political Signs?

"Hmmm ... bad judge ... it didn't work." The risk might be worth it to keep those kind of horrific "kangaroo court" judges to a minimum in one's locality! Your post is an example of needing a "safe enough" setting to show a valid basis rather than just a sign or for that matter just "slick...

    Car wash Security System

Roz, Have you experienced where the Wyze cameras need to be reset by cutting power & restarting them? If so, what was your remedy other than have other cameras that never stop working. I am pretty sure that the SD card will still record (for more difficult retrieval) if there is power to the...

    Overhead doors thermostat options

If it were mine I would also address the most likely "too large of a differential" on that what appears to be an old style WR thermostat. In other words the turn on or turn off might have too large of a temperature range?

Calling all Operators with "Hands On" on Various Brands of PLCs

One of the influencers for me to go with PLC for our dog wash was the founder of this Car Wash Forum ... William P. Pitzer. I know "at the time" he personally leaned towards Automation Direct. Over 10 years ago we went with what appeared to be Automation Direct's former partner EZautomation...

Fuse keeps blowing on foam brush

I posted just in case there was a possibility of the coils being in that specific part of the circuitry. I am probably wrong about the "rubberized" also ... it is probably more of a "less seal-proof" plastic coating.

Fuse keeps blowing on foam brush

FWIW ... at one time I was dumb enough to think that rubberized coils on chemical solenoids were 100% waterproof. They are not .. & the rubberized coils have been known to cause a fuse to blow intermittently.

Repurposed 400K HVAC Deicer Heat Exchanger

Since our industry has some copper-brass heat exchangers ... I am excited to share how great this is working for the large vegetable garden at our house. The 400K HVAC Heat Exchanger shown is taken out of a discarded Raypak Deicer-Snowmelt Boiler. One pic shows the the timer which make it so...

Self Serve Spot Free Pump/Motor Recommendation

Based on the pics ... I would say that your hydraulic systems do NOT have the stainless steel, plastic, &/or brass needed to endure the extremely aggressive SFR RO water!

    Air Dryer guns

The below linked "all stainless steel" clamps are kind of on the "spendy side" but it might make it so the cuff is not needed. Time will tell ... we are testing the boom to hose without the cuff. So what specific 2" vacuum hose is more likely to allow this type of direct clamping??? The angle...

Class Action vs credit card companies.

Earl Weiss, What are the technicalities &/or cost for filing "friend of court". The reason for me asking is it seems like a percentage of us small business owners who may have a laundromat with our self service car wash who are very much against the proposition of feeling being a bit coerced...

The ends on most 4 x 40 RO Membranes???

Our setup has the relief valve in the place where you have the recycle valve on your schematic. I am assuming that what Specialty-Osmonics relief valve was - is basically like a car wash pump bypass valve that would vary the amount just by the nozzle-restriction out in the bay & the setting on...

The ends on most 4 x 40 RO Membranes???

The original RO system's documentation shows Osmonics all over it ... but you could be correct ... Specialty Futura Equipment manufacturing persons involved way back in 1987 might be the ones with more expertise on the specifics on their specific machine. The Mpls-St Paul manufacturer is no...

The ends on most 4 x 40 RO Membranes???

There is a significant efficiency - quantity of "permeate" during tank fill TRADE-OFF with only 3 gpm. How compelling is it to have that amount of gpm since our pump can make it so there is way less concentrate & more permeate created. Does it mean slightly more TDS or is it more of a "long...

The ends on most 4 x 40 RO Membranes???

I circled the what Osmonics calls a "relief valve" ... it appears that it most likely also serves as "Concentrate recycle"

Fail-Safe RO Reject Water Recycling Suggestions?

I am pretty sure I can find a strategic route for the water towards the laundromat or have it only go to the slightly warmer water that goes to the tiny individual self service gravity tanks ... during when the customer chooses hi pressure soap. I have hired a couple of part timer "jack of all...

Fail-Safe RO Reject Water Recycling Suggestions?

We are brainstorming a bit about the most "foolproof & failsafe" way of recycling RO reject water. We still have a pristine "barely used" but older 1" three port brass diverting valve that was part of when we had to re-do our boiler system back in in the middle nineteen eighties. Putting...

The ends on most 4 x 40 RO Membranes???

Thanks Greg & others ... the more worthwhile understanding ...the better IMHO. We redid the tubing routing completion about 12 Noon today with the change-over. Hopefully, we are "out of the woods" on the most nitty gritty part of the installation ... based on the reading of our Pronto probes...
