To me it's too much investment for potential ROI. Big dollars for equipment or a large investment in human resources ( labor). I'd rather find a more passive income stream like storage or apartments or commercial lease/ rental space.

my machine uses a 2 piece stainless ( inner) and brass ( outer ) swivel made by DSTI. A new one is very expensive so i ordered a rebuild kit ( o rings and seals). i cleaned mine in a vibrating tub and it came out great.

stopping in the middle of a wash sounds like one component may have a bad wire; why do you have to rewire the whole machine? 3 mos. down time is way too long!

I usually try replacing the chiclet relay early on in my own troubleshooting, just because it's simple to do and they can wear out. I learned components like that only are good for so many duty cycles.

Not sure either. On my machine the right limit was controlled via a floor treadle switch. I got rid of that years ago and let my touchfree go wide on every car.

Maybe go a bit broader in scope of potential buyers as well. Perhaps your site would be more valuable as a fast food restaurant, commercial building or apartment complex.

Is there a chiclet relay within this circuit that is perhaps sticking occasionally? I have those in my input / output cards and they do fail sometimes and they are easy to change.

If the VT board does not fix the problem is there a way to bypass the right limit so you can go wide on vehicles for now? To me, it's a bit of a half a$$ fix, but you could wash cars without impacts at least.

sometimes i'll call my local welding shop on things like this. i also like to use clear silicone when i can.

Posts like this are enough to make me cross PDQ off the list of potential 'go to' manufacturers for when I upgrade my wash to a new touch free machine. I want a company that stands behind what they sell.
