well physically it is straight but not sure in swivel terminology; water comes in 2 ports on side. one hp/soaps, the other spot free. outer is brass and inner is stainless. stainless piece has 2 o rings on orifices at bottom; one large one small.

Anyone know the original source for this part? It is a brass swivel with stainless insert. What companies make car wash swivels for pressure automatics that could duplicate a swivel?

yeah it's amazing to me, this type of behavior. i even get small business people abusing the wash; bucket washing while customers wait, drying large vehicles while they wait etc. then when i corrected his behavior he got pi$$y and remains stand-offish. totally selfish rude behavior!

i like good better best pricing. mine is 8,9,10,12. my bottom pkg is no underbody, foam polish or blowers. my friend eric floated the idea of an ultimate wash with multiple passes for $15-17. i like that idea.

some cars need friction. whether that's from a hand-prep, cloth car wash or hand wash, it's just a fact. for us low tech is better (d.i.y. prep bucket)

lots of cars need some friction to clean bugs, etc. the d.i.y. prep bucket lets the customer get a stubborn spot or 2 on their own if they wish. if they want fully touch free, they skip the prep bucket. don't make it out to be more complex than it is; i am simply offering customers a choice...

I have an inverted L style machine now and I think it's only partly about creating excitement. it's also wash quality, overall value , speed, up-time vs down time of equipment etc. i would get another L (washworld etc) in a heartbeat. it would be faster and more highly programmable than my set...

my set up uses the 'tote' style tanks. $75 each used (clean). they come in a metal cage. my set up uses a little giant pump with 2 floats. pretty simple to do.

they didnt list a tank as big as mine (16" x 65") but i emailed them anyway. thanks!

yes it included media but would that raise the price that much?

it's a 16" x 65" tank; dealer i bought system from quoted $768 + shipping, so just under a grand. unless someone knows a better priced source?
