That is a clear violation of the Federal Clean Waters Act. Why is it okay for one indusrty to blatantly break rules while another (like ours) is held to a high standard? It's bogus. I'm not the type to drop dimes on people but that gets me mad.

I am planning the same but the product has to be right. I wouldn't spray a soap up under the car without rinsing. a light wax maybe but not a presoak (even if it says rust inhibitor). I plan to do mine with something that protects but not a soap up under the car that goes unrinsed.

Also, remember another way to raise prices is with a decrease in time given on vacs and/or SS bays. It's not what all operators like to do but it is another way to increase revenues.

Yes; that is why I was originally thinking of putting on my (low ph) foam polish right after the double-strength presoak; to add chemical dwell time, then rinse with hp then hp wax then spot free then blowers.

I have roll down doors and roll them down at night when it's cold so I can weep less. Try setting your weep to more of a conservation mode if you can. Do you save your r.o. reject? That helps.

one idea is a sewer meter. the town will be reluctant to install one or read one if you install it. however, it would help due to blow out/evaporation and carry-off. becoming as efficient as you can with water will help.

I switched from originally doing a lo/hi 2 pass to 2 passes of hi ph. gets the cars cleaner for me.
