I think a lot of times when there is a lot of rain, people have to relearn to go back to the car wash. Even those of us with wash subscriptions can find the habit being broken. Road salt and/or pollen can solve that.
I'm in the Baltimore Area, and we have experienced a drop in activity as well. The rain has been a killer in my area. I cannot remember the last time we went without there being rain on Friday and Saturday. Generally, there is always what I call the September Swoon, and the rain has really...
That's a great point. I myself come from the school that most customers aren't too bright. We have four touch-free in-bay automatics at one of our sights. I often have this conversation with customers:
Customer: Are the automatics open?
Me: Yes.
Customer: Nobody is using them.
Me: Nobody...
I'm assuming you have the triple foam on a separate gun, which I feel would need to weep. With regard to foam brushes, I prefer having antifreeze soap. What's nice is the set-up where your antifreeze soap comes on at a temperature you set, and the brushes purge the lines of the summer soap.
Yes, it did around noon. Ours came back on around 9 p.m. We were using Intuit GoPayment and Square to process cards. We use those as backups. We prefer to use the Square, but the Square can sometimes update at an inconvenient time, which it did yesterday.
For you trivia buffs, MxMerchant is...
I'm not sure if this is feasible for you due to space considerations. Kleen Rite does offer free shipping if you get four 55-gallon barrels, 5 30-gallon barrels or 36 5-gallon buckets/containers. Then you can put any vending on top for free. I'm not sure if that applies to parts or not.
We're still at the point of using pen and paper to obtain members' contact information. Once in a while, someone asks if they'll get spammed. We tell them it's to only contact them if a payment does not go through. Most people give both phone numbers and email addresses. If they do not, it's no...
First, I must quantify most predictions have a present-bias. They are based off of what is happening today and assuming that things will follow that trajectory. I'm no different. I do figure there will be shocks to the system.
I myself feel that AI is going to cause a lot of destruction to our...
Worldpay is hot garbage. Anybody who gets stuck on a Worldpay loop knows that it's going to mean lots of wait times, inaction and issues with communicating to someone who doesn't speak English.
I agree. I myself use the new posts and notifications sections to keep tabs on things.
I feel a case could be made to eliminate the crime reports forum. People could just post crime reports in general.
I know with that with Harrell's a subsidiary of Sonny's, they charge for the commute as well.
As to why it's tough finding a mechanic, the factor of people not wanting to work is a big one. Another factor is that those who do want to work do not want to do blue-collar work.
We have four...
If going cashless is dependent on illegal immigration being solve, cash is going to be around a long time. Both parties have dug their heels in, and I don't see that change happening any time soon.
I'm a big fan of shampoo. We use summer concentrate at ours. You can get 5 gallons worth from one bottle. We tried winter concentrate but never could get it to where it did not freeze at some point.
The other day, my father and I had a conversation about going cashless. We take credit/debit as well. I'm against being cashless while he is for it. Here was our discussion:
Me: Bank tellers wash cars too.
Dad (scoffing): I don't care about bank tellers.
Me: Well, we're going to automate...
