Survival; Just bought a car wash, Now tunnel opening a block away

The thing is....and I own both...you are not going to be able to get a car as clean as a properly set up tunnel with a touchless. Just aint happening. Many of these tunnels are running 3 set of miters and 2 top brushes with buffers. Prepping, etc. Unless they are completely negligent i their...

    Starting a SS car wash

I would guess most of those operators both individual and fleet are using mobile truck washing companies

Survival; Just bought a car wash, Now tunnel opening a block away

Yeah, I would almost bet that your landlord knew exactly that thing was coming to town. With that said, let me forewarn you - expect to lose 10 to 50% of your business. if it was my place, I would : 1. Make the outside look impeccable. Fresh paint/decal/signage/everything looking new. 2. Go...

You use Graphene as your drying agent on all washes or do you upsell Graphene as an add-on?

    Arch Vacuums

I love the look of the arched vacs with the dual tips 9 Claw & Crevice ) as well as the overall appearance of the arch. Some have mat holders , towel bins, trash and compressed air. I'd love to install at my IBA site but my issue is I have a TON of RV's and trailers that use my SS bays and...

That press and hold was a PITA in the beginning for me. I made a ton of new signage and my customers seem to have gotten it .

Cost of starting a drive through truck wash?

THIS Truck washing is a thing and it's usually pros with way better equipment than you'd have washing trucks and fleets of trucks on site. You're usually talking 30-50hp trailers with 10gpm pumps with a boiler putting out 200* water. They're also likely using hydroflouric acid in mass quantities.

    Petit - Accutrack 360i

Dual pump machine with Dencar and dryers installed you're looking at $375-400K No way you're getting the dual pump machine for $200k

3 bay Touchless Car Wash Purchase

Agreed. I'll also add that assumption is the mother of all fck ups. Having a 3 bay Petit is the ultimate anti EE tunnel solution. You might night compete toe to toe with one being built nearby but you will thrive better than you would with a friction machine or other touchless machines. I'd...

3 bay Touchless Car Wash Purchase

It’s possible. I would calculate your labor cost and maybe cautiously figure that you’re gonna drop another 25% on your gross. Calculate from there and see if it meets your ROI

3 bay Touchless Car Wash Purchase

That seems like an awesome deal on a 3 Bay Petit! Maybe I missed it but has any new competition came to town? Not sure what else could cause such a precipitous decline in gross besides competition or perhaps mismanagement. I have a dual bay that does well. I run mine as absentee as possible...

Tankless with Recirculation Loop for Trough Heat

I turned off the loop in my trough and put a heat cable in myself. I believe it's a self regulating one which seems to be working great. I found that to keep that trough from freezing. I had to keep my floor heat higher than I needed to to keep the temperature in the trough high enough.

    Dencar Paystation thoughts

Same here. I believe I was the first to buy them outside of the owners themselves using them at their own sites. I bought 4 of them and took a big risk but since then I've been 100% satisfied with the product. My customers love them! They're very easy to use and intuitive. Never really pushed...

Ryko Signature Series Keypad is toast... Where can I get a replacement?

I just did a site upgrade at one of my places and have four complete panels. Perhaps one timer is not fully working but I have three timers that do +2 or so spare ones. I’d like to sell them all though.
