I will have to go look at one so I can ask an informed question that you can't Google for the answer.
You've missed the point. You and your friends are posing as car wash owners/operators/investors when none of you have real experience. You're giving advice on things about which you have no...
I started as an attendant in 1982. I've been in this industry ever since. I worked for the same company for 26 years. I've operated car washes for more than that. I run a small service company now and have about 50 car wash customers. I've designed and built self serve equipment. I've...
You don't know enough to be giving advice, and I never said you won't ever have experience. I said you're pretending you have knowledge that you don't. I will call you out every time you give advice to protect the people looking for information.
My changer is its lifeblood. I would not remove it first. I would have whatever alternate payment method set up first and let the need for the changer die off.
You're offering advice on something you know nothing about. It's unethical. You're posing yourself as someone you're not. You're a kid who rides through car washes with his mom.
I always run 1/2" hose. I just use poly braid over push-lock barbs if there's no pressure, makes service easier and costs less. It's plenty of flow, and if there's a check valve on the 1/2" line it gives just enough drag that you don't need to throttle the supply.
Have you even seen a Hydracell pump? You have ZERO hands-on experience with either pump. Your comments about the pressure they run proves your complete ignorance. You have no business posting about your "experience."
