Nope I haven't found anything better than the MEI/Mars AE series validators. The Talos validator isn't designed for the car wash wet environment. My best advice would be to keep getting your AE series validators repaired.

Your going to need to send your MEI validator in for repair. Trust me when I say this "You don't want to use a Talos validator"! They don't hold up in a car wash environment.

I have to agree with OurTown, I don’t think a bad coil would keep the pump from running. Is that solenoid coil on a individual valve or on a manifold?

The place that I once worked at tired it and it didn't work out very well. Don't waste your time or money. It will freeze and the abrasion quality's are very good.

Do you have power coming out of the rotary switch? If you do, do you have power at the rinse solenoid and at the motor starter?
