I do have 2- buy ups. Ceramic and the RainX. Open to other ideas too.
The $1 start is because the other carwashes in my area are at $1 start and I decided to keep it to stay competitive.
Sure thing,
My prices were
$5,$6,$7,$8
The $8 Wash was 90% of sales. I intentionally priced the low on the new 1 at $8 so the customers could get a wash for the same $8 if they chose to.
Absolutely,
I’m in Southwest Oklahoma. I have 4 packages on my Razor.
Basic- $8
Deluxe-$11
Premium wash Rain Repellant- $13
Ultimate wash Ceramic-$15
The $15 wash is 50% of sales and the others are pretty equal for the other 50%
My self service is $1 start for quarters for 2 minutes and 20...
Howdy Yall
It has been a while since I’ve been on here but I appreciate all the help you guys offered in my carwash update about 1 and a half years ago. I ended up replacing my Wash Wizard 1.0 with a Razor Edge and Hamilton Commander paystation and it was definitely worth the change. It...
My distributor is coming back to address the issues but it has been crazy. I hope they get it worked out. The issue today I rigged so I can keep washing cars. There is a block that switches from the arch to the flex and the spring that keeps the normally closed solenoid closed was either...
It has been 6 weeks since we took our old machine out of service. There have been Various delays some electrician being slow some distributor isduesbut I thought we are finally washing cars again. Although the flex wouldn’t work and SPR is not working.
Nope! As of the time of writing this...
Apparently the Lumen Arch design is IP of Belanger and protected with patents. My distributor said all machines shipped after August 1st can no longer have it. My Razor Edge shipped August 26th with no LumenArch. I know that for a fact.
More colorful lights will draw more attention. I did get SpectreRay on my new Razor but apparently due to a lawsuit the new razors cant have lumen arch. I don’t know if I should add some other lights or if the SpectreRay on the machine is all I need.
I removed my old Water Wizard 1.0 today to make way for the new Razor! The WW was in ok condition and was still doing a good job washing cars.
The question I have is what should I do with the old thing? Try to sell it? Part it out? Give it to some entrepreneur to use again? Find a...

Howdy yall,
I've finally got word my Razor is scheduled to ship at the end of August after ordering the equipment at the begining of April. So I have a few questions yall may answer since I feel like the supplier is not really organized and hopefully they are better at installs than sales and...
If we are getting in to a financial liability discussion. When you have any other assets worth protecting good insurance is your best bet.
An llc is limited in protection, if you have a personal guarantee on a loan or pay for personal expenses from the llc account your llc protection probably...
I'm not a tax professional and this isnt tax advice but how it has been explained to me is: Rental Income is generally considered passive income and not subject to Self Employment Tax. Probably depends on the individuals situation, on what makes the most sense. Business income is filed on a...
I’m not a tax expert but have survived a few irs audits. Generally they say the expenses must be ordinary and necessary to your business to be deductible. I had questioned my CPA about similar deductions and his opinion was if I put an advertisement on a boat, the cost of the advertisement...
This is a great topic with great advice. Of course, sec 179 is the biggest deduction but you have to use it wisely. One other item not mentioned yet, Your income from the car wash is self employment earned income and you must pay self employment tax on that income. If you setup your car wash...
