Ok. Got ya. I don't use token notes. I tried a coupon and only had 3-4 use the code so not worth it. I should be ok since I will just set up four different codes for each wash amount 8, 10, 12, and 14.
thanks for the information. Hamilton has been great, but I had some bad credit cards get swiped or something and it locked up the machine for a week. Of course I was on vacation, the service guy ( on a saturday) did get me up and working again. But to lose a week of revenue was hard to swallow...
I built two systems myself, paid for themselves in 6 months or less....I installed hour counters on the 24 volt input so I know how long they are running for. great investment.
I'm doing mine tomorrow, hopefully the swap out was fairly quick. Kuddos to Hamilton.. Their service is great, Saturdays etc... just the damn dial up and modem is what drove me to the cryptopay. This month alone I've lost 10 plus days with CC processing problems. I ordered the kit UPS Red from...
Just want to get the good and bad for changing over the Hamilton Goldline to Cryptopay. I have cryptopay already on my bays and vacs. Never really any issues. The older goldline keeps having issues, phone line problems, credit cards not batching and locking the system down ( for days while I...
I get $2.00 for 4 minutes with cash/coin and $3.00 for 6 min with cc. The reason for this is so that once they swipe their card they can put it back up and just worry about cleaning the car. No complaints and been like this for years.
This morning this happens. front sensor on the T bar detecting a car? Basically someone pays for a wash and the green enter light flashes for a quick second Then RED STOP comes on, then it starts measuring but the car hasn't even made it up to the sensor bar. There are two sensors on the bar...
Anyone ever see a WW HV wash do a complete cycle, soaps, Triple foam, dryer, etc with no car in the bay? Watched on the camera, lady pays for wash and the WAIT light comes on. The HV begins a complete wash before she enters? It eventually times out with car stuck in bay, 15 min shutdown and then...
Brings up a good point. Anyone tried the wifi water sensors that you place on the floor to alert if water is detected. Like he said he just checked the cameras and "saw" the leak. But what if he hadn't?
I have a few I'm going to try?
Opinions?
Sorry to sound stupid... But the wash I took over 5 years ago, I imagine has the original Ro membranes and the original carbon in the tank? This wash is about 20 years old. But is there a water check ( i have a test kit) I can do on the Rinse water tank and deem the membranes are bad/ carbon...
Waxman said it perfect. I have the same setup. And give 65 seconds. Some people use the full 65 and some run right through it. I give the dry on all washes even my cheapest one ($8.00) customers expect this in my opinion. It really doesn't cost that much to run them, they are three phase motors...
Touchless. I'm also unattended for the most part ( I'm there every morning and my brother stops by 1-2 times a day) , but I do have an emissions guy that rents one bay Mon-Sat. So someone is on site but they aren't watching the bays all the time. We have the prep bucket at the kiosk for the...
MEP.. I agree. I do the same, if they want a refund I gladly give it.. Most take a free wash. The only problem I have is that with the older Hamilton goldline I have to change the code whenever I give it out. but to be honest I have given it out a few times and just told the customer it is a one...
Not trying to be an ahole. But you have time to count the coins and bills from each unit? and compare them to a counter? Maybe I'm the idiot for not doing it.
