    Kleen Track Touchless Soap

wikiwash , with that combo i think you will be happy. When you get down to it using a powder especially in a touchless auto you will blow through at twice the clip (if not more), which means you buy more (more shipping). Powders also require foam enhancers which liquids do not. Fillers become a...

    Kleen Track Touchless Soap

i use Kleen track 2A and 1B in a two step presoak. Run both at 75/1. Used powders maybe 20 yrs ago would never go back. Powders get used faster (lower dilution) and are a pain to deal with. When i used powders they were not very consistent, one box would be good the next would be have tons of...

Vacs, IVS 2 motor vs JE Adams 3 motor

I run 3 motor vacs in all my vacs. Nice thing about a third motor is that if you lose one motor you still have ample suction. I have dixmoor timers and charge 1.75 for 3 min. I do think a third motor does give a little more suction. I have them and charge accordingly

    Rain X alternative

I do not have a tunnel, but I use this product in my touchless automatics and my self serve bays. I sell it as a total body protectant and windshield treatment. It is applied low pressure in the self serve and as part of my 12.00 package in autos. Have tried Rain x and believe this does a better...

    premium protectant in SS

If you already have a low pressure clearcoat on your gun use the premium protectant there. I have a ginsan ultra system and that is what I did. I also have a seperate gun for triple foam, and I think the reason it is not used all that much is people waste time looking for it. When people are in...

    Powdered Soap; Long-term test

bighead . This is a learning and teaching forum not the playground. Play well with others or do not play at all. If you get out of your own way you may just learn something. People make claims on here all the time, I was just asking for proof of the claims made. I was not asking how to run my...

    Powdered Soap; Long-term test

Has anyone done an actual unit to unit test between powder and liquid. I would like to see numbers between cost and dilution ratios. I too would like to switch to powder but the ultra concentrated liquids do save on shipping, because i am not paying to ship water. Liquids also have a higher...

    General CW1541

I think it was replaced by the HTCK4050S. Why not fix it , seems like a wasted 3000.00 not to.

    General CW1541

tdl does your oil look milky. If the oil is milky it is water in the oil. The usual progression leading to plunger pump failure goes like this. Operators don't change oil regularly, there low pressure seal fails which does not always result in pressure drop and they get water in the crankcase...

    General CW1541

usually when a pump leaks oil from an oil seal it is a sign of drive end issues. If it were me I would look for play in the shaft indicating bad bearings. This is a common problem in the cw1541. Oil seals do not usually fail unless something is wearing on them.

    Wyndstar door torn at seams

did you call wyndstar and get pricing on replacement panels. Those doors are easily taken apart, they are held together with pins that you can drive out. I had someone drive through one of mine and pull the panels apart, i drove out pins and put door panel back in black guide track. easy fix

what's wrong with the car wash industry

Most washes are in bad shape because the owner has lost interest because most washes do not make good money. I have owned washes since the early 80's and I can tell you back then washes made money. Operators were highly involved and hands on. I have seen the same thing time and time again in...

    Crypto Pay Install

borumrm i think your customers lack of interest in credit cards maybe caused by your startup price. Why would a customer spend $4 when they can keep spending $1 till they are done with their car. They have no reason to commit. I once tried the a low startup price back in the 90's when I was...

Who can rebuild a Cat CP2120W?

I have sent quite a few pumps to IDS, and they have done many resleeve jobs for me. It is nice to have someone who can repair a pump completely no matter what the problem. I even had a cat 1540 throw a rod through the crankcase and they were able to weld it for me and do a total rebuild. Not...

    help with triple foam.

i have always set air around 15 psi and liquid around 30 psi at all my washes. I use jbs glow foam and it seems to work good at those settings. If i set my air and liquid the same, it would sputter way to much. I would think every system is a little different depending on soap dilution, water...

    help with triple foam.

you should have a check valve on your air line. In triple foam systems the liquid pressure is usually set higher than the air, so the liquid backs up the air line. If you are using poly tube John Guest makes a nice check valve. It can be bought at any of the catalog houses.
