I’m eventually going to put one at the end of the bays as well. I’m just installing them as I get money since I’m still not making any positive return on the wash yet.
So I’ve slowly been upgrading the old 8’ fluorescent lights to LED lights and I must say I’m very impressed so far. They are a little over 100$ each on the amazon.
I do work, this car wash is not my main gig it’s a side hustle. I work for a small oilfield company named schlumberger. Maybe you’ve heard of it? I’m just trying to draw in people to take them away from another business is all.
My biggest issue is that my car wash has been closed for 3 years so trying to get the word out that it has opened. I might do like you said and drop to 50 just to get the word out that I’m open and to gain traffic and then raise it to at least match the other in town later on.
I have read numerous threads about pricing and since you guys have been such a great help I wanted to kick around an idea. So there are two other car washes in town. None of which have a better location than me. The biggest competitor in town is $1.00 for 4:00. I have matched that but it seems...

So the key was removing the timer and the relays. I also don’t have anything wired up to the timed hot and all functions operate as they are supposed to. Now I can work on cleaning up the boxes inside of the pump room. Thanks for everyone’s help today. I couldn’t have figured it out without y’all.
Just so I’m clear. I figure the motor latch will be the brown wire that is going to the backside of the relays tied into all the black wires that goes to each relay. The timed from the box would be the black wire coming into the front of the relay. Is that right?
I’ve pulled out the timer. I wired my hot and common straight into the bus bar. I have a pink and yellow wire left over we will cal that the timed back to the box and the coin pulse wires. I have every low pressure function working as designed. My issue I’m having is that when I wire up my motor...
On my bar inside of the box I have a spot that goes out for timed it’s the double yellow on bottom. When bay is in function it has 24v when it has timed out it drops to 14v is that normal?
