Always looking to save money while maintaining or even improving wash quality and decided to try some stuff from Kleen Rite.
One of the products I ordered was Simoniz Dri Brite. I didn't get a chance to see many cars come out, but the first one that did come out was black and it looked...
Not sure if anyone has seen this.
Have had Wash Card at one site for almost 10 years. Great product ad company I wonder what the future holds? I know D&S is highly regarded in the industry.
Here is the email:
Hello,
I’m writing with some important – and exciting news about WashCard...
Was just wondering where everyone that installed their AirShamme mounted their boom?
I'm guessing the common location is HP side mid wall but what height?
Satisfied where you mounted it or would you change anything?
Went and bought a Super AirShamee II to install and try. I think I can tackle this myself but have a question
I've seen some people mention wiring it off the HP pump. Are you guys using the same relay as the HP pump or just jumping the incoming HP pump power to the relay to another relay that...
HP guns, HP hoses, Vac hoses and claws, etc?
Do you wait for them to fail then replace or do you prefer to change them out once they start looking worn and bad?
Part of me would like to leave them till they completely fail but they'll usually start looking like hell by then. The flip side...
I have the usual 1" black PVC ones. They usually start leaking after a while. Does anyone have a better solution? I've seen some stainless ones on Zoro and Grainer just wasn't sure if that's the way I should go?
Was operating normally and one day I noticed that one of its two motors was pulling much less. Was running perfectly on one Domel 492.4 and one Ametec ( Original from 2008!!).
Switch the week pulling Ametec to another Domel and noticed it starting to trip the fuse immediately. Redid the wiring...
Had a customer with a large vehicle accidentally hit the accelerator and lurch into my IBA ( Soft Gloss ), totaling it ( Bent frame among other things)
2007 Machine
They gave me roughly 1/3 the cost of a new machine. Basically New Machine cost - Depreciation - Deductible = Check from...
Need some help with my Ryko Soft Gloss.
Passenger front brush not coming in when the gantry comes back to the front and the machine is shutting down and saying wash complete. Throwing a code 17 ( Any Arm Proxy ).
I was thinking its a bad air cylinder possibly thus not allowing the arm to...
I recently noticed that my weep solenoid wasn’t closing completely(water constantly flowing out). I was using an Asco red hat. Ordered a new one and it’s doing the same thing. Even when it’s energizd/closed it’s still passing through at a pretty decent rate. Almost as if it’s not even closing...
During busy times I'm experiencing hot water shortages in my dog wash. I was wondering what you guys thought could be a remedy?
Some kind of pressurized heated holding tank? Something else?
Thanks.
Anyone have one? I have a Shurvend by my vending area, but I've been considering adding a mechanical vender to mount out by my towel station. Thinking I'd get some sales from people drying their car and doing their windows and have some change in the car to buy a Armor All pad or whatnot...
I have a Fragramatic Combo vacs ( started with one and now 2 doing the same) that keeps popping the 240v 20A fuse after 5 seconds. Checked brushes, and even changed both motors and checked wiring still happening? Could the relay cause this? What else could cause it?
Been thinking about one. Mostly to keep down time to a minimum. I know the assembled hoses will likely cost the same or less, but I like have the means to repair things as quickly as possible.
Do any of you guys own one? What are the good brands to look for?
Thanks
Does anyone have their wash/SS set up like this? All my injection and solenoids are at the pump stand and myself, along with my customers, don't really like the 5-15 secs it takes to switch functions.
I was thinking about having a brass manifold block above the bay and then run the 1/4" poly...
Hi guys -
When I bought my wash, they originally plumbed a loop off my floor heat into the trough with no independent control. The problem with that is that I keep the floor heat as low as possible and it was too low for the trough and I'd get occasional freezes.
I ended up running an...
Didn't want to mess up the other thread, but it sparked my interest as to what others are paying for insurance?
Im paying roughly $4000/yr on my 4/2. $2,000,000 aggregate limit. $5,000 deductible.
