I've got 2 Hamilton RNS changers dispensing $1 tokens which I would like to retrofit to take credit cards. I spoke to Hamilton and their only solution is to replace one of the RNS's with a $4,300 credit card to token machine which would require a $1,800 connector to their DAN system. I also...
I have got to replace 2 of my 3 ten hp blower motors. I'm thinking of replacing the center motor with a 15 hp. The 10's never did a great job and am looking to do better since I have to make a change. Anyone have any advice as to weather adding the 15 would do any good?
This morning I had a hose type pulsation dampener develop a leak. Since I didn’t have a replacement, I plugged the orifice where it was attached with a brass plug. The CAT 310 runs as smooth without the dampener as it did with it.
Does a CAT 310 really need this dampener to have a long and...
Anybody got a source for Rain-X 3.5 oz bottles at a reasonable price. The best price I could find today was $5.35 on Amazon. This is twice what I paid a little over a year ago.
Today I had a cat 310 start pulsating like it had something under a valve. By the time I was finished I had 6 new valves, a seal kit and a new supply line complete with check valve. The pump still pulsates.
I did not consider a washed out head for all my heads were reworked with stinless...
I’ve got a neighbor who has been using Walmart (Great Value) oven cleaner for bug remover. He sprays it on, waits a few minutes then washes it off with a garden hose and nozzle. So far it has not hurt the windshield, paint or chrome on his new Chevy pickup.
Anybody else ever tried this...
The 3/8” swivels on each end of my wand hoses tighten up over time. This only happens when running high pressure. They work fine under low pressure or no pressure. I’ve taken the swivels apart, cleaned out the dirt and put a little Vaseline on the o-ring and nylon washer. This worked for...
Anybody got a sure fire cure for mudders?
I've got a small group of kids that love to play in the mud and then come to my wash and make a big mess. Sunday is their favorite day, so I tried turning off the bays on Sunday night hoping they would go somewhere else. They just waited until...
I arrived at the carwash this morning to find my Hamilton ACW4 out of service and my hopper had been jackpotted. The crooks pulled out one of my selection buttons, got hold of the wiring harness behind it and knew just which wires to jump to make the hopper jackpot. I called Hamilton this...
I bought some Abus disc locks that I’m not too happy with. They are hard to get the key in and out as well as being hard to unlock. Greasing them with silicone spray didn’t help. These locks are the ones with the picture of the buffalo on it.
Anybody got a better choice for disc locks?
I currently weep with water well water and I would like to have a backup is case I loose power. I’m thinking of tying city water into the weep system using a pressure regulator set at say 10 psi. As long as the well keeps the pressure above 20 psi the city water would not come in play. If the...
I currently weep my guns and blow down the brushes with air on freezing nights. This has worked down to 25 degrees. My question is what about the tire cleaner and presoak lines? It is supposed to get down to the teens this weekend. I’m considering purging the tire cleaner and presoak lines...

The thieves got me early Monday morning. They used a torch to cut a 2? X 2' hole in my steel back door and then cut the phone line where it connected to the alarm system. They then proceeded to cut the locked corners off my Hamilton RNS changers giving them access to the...
Today I tried to order some 3.5 oz. bottles of Rain X from Kleen-Rite. I was told that they were out of them and they had not ordered any more. The sales girl said that they were having trouble getting products from Rain X but did not elaborate. Anyone else run into this? Got another source...
I had a conversation with a competitor in the next town to the east. He installed a 110? friction tunnel next to his 3/1 and is doing quite well. He said the price of a ACW for the tunnel was not cost effective and does this part manually. What is the cost of a new Hamilton Goldline with all...
