I would say the brush you use is almost as important as the product. Use something really soft so you don't scratch or damage the dye. If you are leery of damaging it then I would recommend bringing it to a professional detailing shop as paying a professional to clean the seat is a lot less...
Curious if anyone else's wash has been slower than usual lately? Our 4th weekend is usually a busy one for us, but was overall slower then usual. June was nothing to brag about either... Anyone else see these trends the last month or have any reasoning to it?
In my experience in bay signs and lighting has been a big hole in our industry. It has been a challenge for us to locate exactly what we are looking for for signage. Most of the off the shelf stuff either looks outdated or poor functionality. Our hot wax in bay sign went out a few years ago and...
We have yet to start using the graphene, currently trying to burn through the rest of our hot wax we had in stock that it is getting replaced by. It will be getting ran through A Kondor KL2 before ceramic with a $2 upcharge.
Its only a factor for us on low pressure functions. HP Rinse works great on both sides. Output pressure is sitting at 1100 during HP, unfortunately I do not know what it was sitting at before this was an issue for our wash.
Our Kondor Kl2 passenger side has very low pressure compared to the drivers side. Drivers side is a nice fan while the passenger side looks to have low pressure and just gloops out or just enough to make contact with the vehicle with no fan. We replaced our tips recently but it made no change...
We have found that we are using a barrel of powder about twice as fast as when we were running liquid. Even with how much more we use it is still over half the cost of what we were spending on liquid high ph. Only reason we still run the powder is that we have someone on site all the time as we...
We have a Portal TI, we optioned it to dispense dollar bills only as it was much more headache free then using the quarter dispensing option. We still have the machine accept quarters, but not dispense them.
We tried to use the exact same presoak in our wash. Unfortunately we found that the show for it was generally very poor and would have to have the dilution stronger then the manufacturer recommended to get a desired show and cleaning power from it. We added Simoniz Foam additive to it as well...
Also if this customer does go online and bad mouth your business, we have found in the past the people they bad mouth too are also customers you would not want in the first place. Birds of a feather flock together, so it will likely do very little harm to the A+ customers that you already have...
I am in the same boat as you. It doesn't cost that much to replace but just feel bad throwing stuff out that seems to be functioning fine! Glad I'm not the only one.
Curious how often you guys replace your spray tips in your IBA. I know they degrade slowly over time, but we haven't noticed a huge difference from when they were new to when they are about to get replaced. Fan width is a little better, but overall vehicle still gets good coverage.

Curious what type of detail you did to the jeep, and what cleaning methods you did to the seats and steering wheel? Where they leather or cloth seats? We have been doing professional detailing here for years and I have been detailing most of the used cars we sell for the last five years as well...
