Good info here, we are considering adding a 2 bay Petit system to a 8 bay SS wash. Take out 3 SS bays to make 2 Petit bays. We are getting no where trying to get estimates on construction costs with GCs. Don't really know where to start, we haven't done any major construction or renovations like...
Soon KR will be the sonny's of self serve if they keep buying everything. Have you seen sonny's price increases over the last few years with their almost monopoly in so many areas of the tunnel sector? As 1 example, basically anything related to hydraflex injectors
1. a simple excel is sufficient for most car washes. these are simple businesses in terms of book keeping.
2. that works and is simple to setup and use.
One wash we took over used to just used to screw the nozzles directly into the hose, no swivels and no cuffs. We added swivels when we took over, but the attendant said they didn't have many issues with nozzle coming out the old way directly into hose.
For a 2 bay SS wash only, you could probably get away with a very simple system with a smaller membrane and a holding tank. Maybe even like a 500-750 gpd membrane would work for you if you have low use anyways.
That sounds like the displays on idx timers, those modules are available on digikey. Look at the part number on your current led modules and you should be able to order them also
Your bank still requires face and oriented bills? None of our banks do.
I would never trust them that much, still need to know how much it is before taking it to them
There are good, used cummins machines on ebay most of the time. A lot of banks use them and most banks get them regularly serviced, so you can usually get a good deal on a good, bank used unit.
Have no experience with Kisan, but we had originally bought another brand used, couldn't get parts or service, and didn't stay in good working condition for long. We went with all cummins after that. In total we have 4 bill counters and 1 jetsort all cummins
That's crazy if that's true. There are 3rd party repair companies too, but may have to ship machine to them, so not really feasible a lot of times. The cummins machines have been workhorses in our experience. We use jetscan for bills and jetsort for coins. Both have given little to no trouble
Trick I learned from a service guy installing mei kit on our acw, he had his bench grinder and drill but sharpening jig setup next to the acw. Kept his bits sharp constantly and drill through those SS doors pretty quick
