Did anyone stop by the CirCumTec stand at the show? They are bringing their Australian product to the US. Plus, Monex had its next-generation devices there too. Someone's got to become the post Cryptopay swiper industry standard. Time will tell I guess
I didn't see CBK at the show (I wasn't really looking for them), but there must have been five or six new IBAS with a similar back story. It's interesting to see their presence grow at the show. However, I have yet to see one out in the wild.
Trust me, I get the principled position...my default response to someone being a jerk off the bat is "f*** that guy"...That said, I've found it much easier to just kill the problem with "kindness". Even if it's faux and through gritted teeth, the problem goes away faster, and I waste fewer...
I've been working on a prototype for something like this. I have a wifi controller with an ultrasonic sensor that im using to detect when a car leaves to end the count up card charges. Its not ready for demo yet. But hopefully by mid summer
This is only my second year in the industry, and I feel I learned a lot from the Nashville show last year. We are in the market for 3 or 4 IBAs over the next couple of years, so we want to really get a better idea of which ones will serve us best in each market.
Unless you're onsite and politely nudging them, I don't think you will fix that problem. I'm looking at adding splash radio with a periodic reminder that to be in the bay, you have to pay, etc. I'm curious if anyone has had any success stories.
TBH, the pricing of the current offerings has blown me away. I can't fathom $20-40k for a pay station at our little IBAs. Im not really sure which path to go down
Thanks Greg. It was showing 5.1v and 12.08V on the multi meter. Once I removed the sound board / printer board (neither of which are useful to me) It seemed to stabilize. and I couldnt make it crash again. Probably time for an upgrade but gosh new pay stations are expensive!
Hey,
I have a wash select 2 that crashes when it has to give change. If I unplug then replug the hopper cable to the main cup board it will work for a few days then go back to crashing. The harness is new
And all the set screws in the green block are good.
any ideas what it could be other than...
