Razor blows several pressure gauges~ why?

A couple of years ago when I was a young man I was in charge of the calibration section for the organization that I worked for. If water is getting into the gauge the pressure tube inside the gauge is leaking. This will cause the pressure to build up inside the gauge housing and blow it apart...

    Tip Sizes and Dilution

When I used that garbage KR soap I used it per the instructions on the label and it worked fine, just mix 10 gallons of water with 1 bucket of soap, how hard is that. I think I used a Yellow or a Purple tip. The problem we had with the soap was it will snot up and look like the snot in Ed's...

Razor blows several pressure gauges~ why?

Russ is right you always want to use a liquid filled gauge and you always want to use a gauge that is twice as high as the pressure of the device. If your running at 1500psi you want to use a 3000psi gauge.. I've had problems with the Kleen-rite gauges blowing the rubber plug out of the top of...

    Called it quits.

Earl Congratulations, that’s a smart move. I’ve been kicking the idea around about selling out myself. At 74 it’s getting harder and harder to work the car wash. Again Congratulations and enjoy your time with what you want to do.

My brother has a problem with people parking in the bays for hours on end. He installed a water line with a valve that he can control remotely that drips or sprays water on there car. It works well.

    Self Serv. Bay issue

It could almost anything. Is the motor in the equipment room starting and stopping? Have you checked the wiring in the coin box for any loose or damaged wires? Rotary switch could be bad. Check the wiring on the pump skid for loose wires, primarily on the rinse side.

Flojet keeps running with no leaks

When you turn on the foam brush out in the bay do you get a nice foam out in the bay? How much pressure do you have on the discharge side of the pump? Is the pump drawing chemical to the foam brush manifold?

Flojet keeps running with no leaks

If you look at the video very closely you see there is zero pressure on the gauge on the top of the outlet manifold. That tells me that the pump is not building pressure or it not drawing chemical from the holding tank. Check that you have chemical in the holding tank and that the pump suction...

Flojet keeps running with no leaks

Your link doesn't work. Is your Flo-jet pump pulling chemical from your holding tank. The pump will run it it doesn't have something to pump against.
