Help with valuation of potential purchase

Probably only worth 120-150k assuming you get a long lease with options with the rent on that. With the dirt it's probably 350k~

    New touchless automatic Chinese wash

My biggest issue with chinese equipment as someone whos bought chinese machinery for something else is that it works fine, until it doesnt. Then good luck trying to fix the issue. Been burned twice, never again. That being said, I'd love to see one of those leisuwash machines in action and...

    New touchless automatic Chinese wash

On a more serious note though, support and ease of fixing is more important than the machine. You just need one logic error in the machine and you will be down for weeks at a time with no way to fix it.

    Deal Structure for Leasehold

Want to pick apart a few peoples brain, not from the US. Situation is as is: Land value: 2.5-3m Construction Cost: 1.5m Equipment Value: 1.1m If you were going to build a car wash on someone else's land, using the figures above, what would be a reasonable lease if you were to front equipment...

    Running both Friction and Touchless

Im not from the US so situation is a bit different here. There is no tunnel competition here, competition is just about all touchless and touchless does seem to be the preferred IBA here. Situation: In the location it needs to be a 24 hour car wash as activity is active all night. Benefits of...

    Running both Friction and Touchless

For those of you running both a friction machine and touchless side by side, what is your experience? Do you wish you would have went full friction or touchless? Are you offering both packages at the same price? Which side is generally more popular?

    Chemical suggestions

If its being applied over the presoak I guess you could say its just their way of trying to increase dwell time since its also high PH. That said youre better off just swapping them for presoak. Just make sure youre accounting for adequate dwell time between the lo/hi when you do switch them out

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

On the same note it's kind of surprising that the car wash industry doesn't have independent reviewers that review chemicals, machinery etc in order to improve competitiveness and prices like many other industries have

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

I was just interested in what other chemicals you use :P I'm in the midst of building my own carwash and I liked the idea of scrapping carnauba and using Graphene/ceramic passes instead which is why I asked. Any of those other chemicals you've tested worth anything?

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

What does your top pkg have? With cheap chemical, 2 presoak, 1 light layer of trifoam then a wax im sure 53c is doable, doubt he is using ceramic or Graphene

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

Ultraflex by CSI is ultra concentrated, they do still seem low to me though, especially the presoaks. I dont have any direct experience using Lustra but that seems to be around 80c of chemical according to the prices I was given

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

Assuming a presoak takes 30 seconds to apply, and a 10 second dwell time. You get 40 seconds before that presoak is neutralized by the low ph presoak. 40 seconds is not enough to do anything meaningful for tough road film. Some would say to increase the pause between but customers hate when the...

New chemistry that I almost passed on - then WOW

From the looks of it the first thing that comes to mind is that the high ph presoak isnt being given enough time to work its magic. Have you tried simplying the process and adding 2 passes of high PH presoaks with a higher dwell time? Could remove the overglow or simplify the...
