Which Self Serve Equipment is the Best ?

I'm not sure what you are asking for actually exists. You would need a unit with PLC's, which is very unusual. Most Self Serves use cheaper simple timers. Even then the low soap alerts are usually provided by your chemical supplier that has them designed for their systems. Wash World offers a...

    Ultrasonic sensor problem

Not all ultrasonic sensors are the same. They all have various ranges and sensitivity levels. Some can be placed facing one another without interference while others may need a multiplexor to accomplish this. Are you sure you're using the correct ultrasonic for this project?

    Lexair issue

It sounds like the seal around the puck is leaking. Cut off the water and air. You may need to drain the high pressure tank. Remove the aluminum cap and inside you will find the puck. Blow it out of the cap through the air inlet hole. On the puck you should see a black seal. Replace it with a...

The program that Automation Direct is looking for is loaded on the Master PLC. There are hundreds of different PLC's and they all use different ports, cables, and devices for communication with a computer program. They also all use different programs. We need to know which PLC is installed to...

    Laserwash 4000 sensor issue

The LW4000 finds the rear of the vehicle with both the exit end T-bar eyes and the mid limit. When the bridge starts to the rear of the vehicle, Output Y40 goes off and Output Y41 comes on. This switches power between the 2 sets of T-bar eyes. The A5000 begins looking for Inputs X21 and X26...

LaserWash 4000 Arch rotate fail ONLY during low pressure passes

You might want to try moving the X17 Prox a little closer to the cam. It would best explain why this is only happening on low pressure functions and at the rear. While you are at it make sure the connections are in good shape and there's no green corrosion visible on the Prox Cable.

I forgot to add. Start with the card. It's the easiest to change and one of the 2 most likely culprits.

Laserwash G5 intermittent arm rotation fail

The Arch Encoder is connected to the 17N01 card in slot 1 of the Bridge Box. The PDQ part number is 07150002. The G5S uses just the encoder to know the position of the Arch. You have to tell it where the zero position is which is stored on the 17N01 card. Using the zero point as a reference it...

Laserwash G5 intermittent arm rotation fail

I would replace the encoder and card. Then zero the Arch and test.

    Water softener help

Do you have one head or two in your system. We had a two head system in which head A didn't allow enough water back into the brine tank to fully recharge Tank B. Head B did allow enough water back into the brine tank to fully recharge Tank A. Whenever the wash was on Tank A we had 0 grains of...

Hi GMV. You are probably going to get lucky with the Output Card, but Speed Controllers are easy to change (take lots of pictures of wiring before you start). If your worried though you can call your Wash World distributor and have them change the Speed Controller.

Flow meters on low pressure functions??

2Biz I love your attention to detail. I have never seen flow meters used to allow an operator to see how much change they are making as they adjust the needle valves. This is a wonderful way to make that easy.

Where do these lines go from the serenoid valves

The cut lines appear to be the lines out to the bays. They typically would send air or product out to each Bay through some sort of a trough (Usually found in an attic or on the roof. At a point before they drop down into the bay they typically have a tee where the product and air are mixed...

Stacking Paid Washes at Pay Station

Since I'm not familiar with how Touch4Wash communicates with the ACW's Controller, I can't really help. I know the Crypto Pay has a small board that attaches to the Controller to tell it that a card was accepted that should allow the Controller to stack the wash. The Touch4Wash would need to do...

Stacking Paid Washes at Pay Station

You can turn the stacking off on an ACW. Using the four buttons on the controller mounted to the door you can access the menu and disable stacking. Does it only happen to customers using the Crypto Pay Reader?
