Fill in the blank: If I had a nickel for every time a customer this, I'd be rich!

See me at the wash anywhere at all and stop me and ask if the car wash is working. I could literally be walking by without any tools or anything and they stop and ask before trying to use it.

UNITEC Portal TI Teller "Coin Dispenser"

Should hopefully be easy then. I've found paper and other debris in the way before. Also that round top disk might not be pushed down all the way.

    Profile HP Hose

Did you get yours wrapped? I found it locally for about $250, or $320 with the cloth sleeve.

UNITEC Portal TI Teller "Coin Dispenser"

I've had a motor lock up on one. See if it spins. I've also found mine jammed on a few occasions, so hopefully that's it. Take off the part that has circles and holds the coins and make sure nothing got stuck under there that is preventing it from spinning.

    Profile HP Hose

See any difference in life span without the wrap?

    Profile HP Hose

For those of you that have had to replace your wrapped HP hose in the Razor or Profile, are you purchasing it from Washworld, or found that a local company is the better option? Washworld wants $750 for the Profile hose.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

I think my other washes are plumbed to run city water to the rinse. I'll have to check. Water at this wash was at 11 grains hard, so definitely needs to be soft. I'm surprised cars were still coming out clean with the softener not working.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Maybe not, but it's plumbed that way. Regardless, I found my water to be hard, so I have to fix the softeners anyway.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Quick update. The sun finally came out and we washed a few cars back to back and no low water tank issue. Turns out it was the softener as I still have it bypassed. New one for me, but glad that there is finally an explanation.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

It's a very confusing situation as it's hard to pin down why the flow slows down. I'm sure I'll figure it out soon. Very rainy month here, so have not had a line of cars in a while.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

I did test the water flow with all guts of solenoid removed, and also installed a brand new solenoid, so I've tried both of those items. The hose is a solid pipe running very close to it, then a thick hose only a short distance and no kinks. Next rainy day I'm going to swap the complete...

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Well I bypassed my water softener today and no change. Fills up fast for a few seconds then slows down. I can't think what the heck could be causing that behavior. On another note, I'm glad this came up as I found out my water was hard and I need to rebed my softeners. Still didn't work with...

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Not yet. I went by yesterday and switched my active softener tank. It's been rainy and slow, so have not washed two cars back to back since then. It seemed to fill slightly faster, but I couldn't tell for sure. If I was two vehicles in a row and it keeps up, then the softener was the issue.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

I'm focusing my efforts now on the softener to see if that's the issue.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Yep. Tried a valve from another Razor.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Yes. I honestly don't think there is anything I have not tried. Spent over 10 hours trying to pin it down.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

No check valve in between. I checked flow after the filter as well and it was fine.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Yes.. I have 5 other Razors that are the same, so very familiar with them.

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Yes. I've tried several times draining the tank to just above low water float then turning water back on. Starts filling at a high rate, then slows down after a few seconds. Somehow getting restricted after a few seconds. I can't see the solenoid suddenly partially closing if 24v is applied...

    Help with Razor Rinse Tank

Yes. I filled a 5 gallon bucket and it was strong the whole time. Not scientific as a test, but the water was uncontrollably strong with no change during the duration it was won. Washworls insists it has to be the solenoid, but it can't be. Has to be something else causing the restriction...
