When i pulled the valve out, the "o" ring was still on the valve but in bad enough shape that it has to be replaced. Only one "o" ring was good enough to leave on.
Would the "o" rings on the valves cause the pump to lose pressure? Five out of the six were bad when i checked them. Could it be that some of the "o" ring that was bad fell in where the piston is?
Yes i have changed the cups on the 623 several times. The pump is chugging along. I have removed the guard, the belt is fairly new,no cracks, but alittle loose. I'll tighten it up some and see if that does the trick.

It seems that the(Alamo) control unit on the cylinder is not closing all the way and water from the 1/4" line (from cylinder to the brine tank) does not stop. It overflows. To stop this i manually turn the timer. My question is..Does anyone know about this system or know of a co. in the Dallas...
