A few years ago, I replaced my ACW4 buttons after a robbery attempt. At the suggestion of this Forum, I used the Hamilton buttons for their goldline models. They appear more sturdy then the originals.
I've been using these(5) since I opened. I think I've had to replace only one once.

I finally got my USA Technology retrofit up and running with a lot of help especially from Randy Nix. Total cost was about $500 which is a far cry from the $6,500 Hamilton wanted.
I've got 2 Hamilton RNS changers dispensing $1 tokens which I would like to retrofit to take credit cards. I spoke to Hamilton and their only solution is to replace one of the RNS's with a $4,300 credit card to token machine which would require a $1,800 connector to their DAN system. I also...
Somewhere in the 5 to 10 years ago range I did a price comparison. I don't remember the results but it wasn't significant enough for me to make a change.
I had my bill acceptor destroyed on my glass front vendor a few years ago. The coin acceptor was not touched and worked fine with quarters, nickels, dimes and $1 tokens. Since the vendor is only a few feet from the changers, I was in no hurry to replace the broken validator. I didn't even...
Is there a check valve in the water supply line to the pump? I've had a broken one of these try to starve my pump.
Also try plugging the soap/wax port on the side of the pump and see if the problem goes away. It will narrow down where to look.
I have got to replace 2 of my 3 ten hp blower motors. I'm thinking of replacing the center motor with a 15 hp. The 10's never did a great job and am looking to do better since I have to make a change. Anyone have any advice as to weather adding the 15 would do any good?

I couldn’t see Soapy’s picture either when using my Internet Explorer browser. I changed to my Chrome browser and the picture showed up just fine.
I connected both of the compressor’s discharge lines together using a “T”, female quick connect and a hose with male quick connect fittings on both ends. The pressure switch on the primary is set to kick in at 100 psi and kick out at 150 psi. I set the operating pressure on the backup pressure...
Both belts on the compressor break 5 min. after you lock your equipment room door about 4 PM. Electric motor runs all night till you get to the wash the next morning. Find 2 notes shoved in the front door complaining the brush doesn't have any soap and the automatic is not working like it...

The oil-less compressor you linked to is the same one I've been using as a backup for the last 3 years. I plumbed it into my system to kick in if the primary compressor fails.
It is definitely NOT quiet. Also you will need a heavy duty extension cord if you use it away form a 110...
This morning I had a hose type pulsation dampener develop a leak. Since I didn’t have a replacement, I plugged the orifice where it was attached with a brass plug. The CAT 310 runs as smooth without the dampener as it did with it.
Does a CAT 310 really need this dampener to have a long and...
