Can anyone recommend a good 1/2" inline spring check valve to use on the suction side of a Cat 310/340 pump?

I like this one:

I used to use SMC but they rarely last more than a year and either lose the o-ring and leak back (The o-ring often gets into the pump and makes it lose pressure and pulsate) or it sticks closed or won't open fully when the spring unwinds itself around the poppet. I ordered one that I linked and took it apart - there's a rubber disc, no way for it to slip off, and the spring is too small to unwind. The poppet slides on a shaft instead of just floating in the cavity. I haven't had one fail yet, been using them 6 or 7 years.

I have 530 cats and use the US Paraplate 1/2". It is placed in the vertical position, suction side down and the spring is removed. I have had it this way for 25 years and works great.
