Saw this at the local plumbing supply.

My detail shop restroom gets quite a workout most days.

This seems like a great way to save on water and sewer costs.

What do you think?

I would think you'd be better off replacing the toilet with one that uses a pressurized bladder to flush. Those use about half the water of a standard toilet and do a much better job of getting waste down the drain. Simply reducing the amount of water per flush with a standard toilet may not get a complete flush.

if most of the time its just peeing, that type of toilet it fine, they are everywhere in Europe and Asia.

The mechanism works thusly:


1/2 flush for yellow. Full flush for brown.
