A-OK/TSX17/Dynawash Problems

Hello All! Thank you so much for the input.

I wrote a multi paragraph and very detailed thread until I had problems with the site and the entire thing got deleted so I will make this brief.

I have an old TSX1720F V:1.2 from around 1988 running an old dynawash touchless automatic. We think the computer or perhaps PLC if it's referred to as that, is shot. Telemecanique used to manufacture it a long time ago and they no longer do it appears. A-OK is out of business and cannot be contacted. We have no way of fixing this problem or don't have any serious people that can help us.

If you have any information as to what direction I should look, or which companies to contact that would be tremendous!

try scott's supply in mccallsburg iowa. he used to dist. aok and has a lot of contacts. don't know the phone number.

Thank you. Are you referring to scott sales out of iowa? We are trying to work with them since they did handle some of AOK's products and customers.

With the software that we have on our PLC, will we need a new specifically programed software to work with our different wash options, or is there a scanner tool to talk to the software/PLC and design our different wash options?

We're not sure if it is our software that is the cause of this problem or not. Right now its the only thing we can think of. But it is definitely something to do with that PLC.

We had a problem before aok went out of business, we lost the computer program and the wash programmer would not talk to the computer. Had to get the software chip from aok to reprogram our computer. It was 300 to use it. don't what we will do if we lost the computer program again. Don't know whare to get that software again.

Bbath,

It seems like a longer term more fail safe solution is to make sure that we all have a ladder diagram of what the PLC controls along with the specific flow chart. That way we have a better starting point when a brand new PLC needs to used because the old (a bit too proprietary sytem) is no longer available.

Yes, talk to a "plc integrator" so they can reverse engineer the ladder logic. It would be much more feasible if the system were still working when they were contacted.

thanks. Dose anyone have any information on where to get parts for the dynawash express?
I read the post that scotts supply out of Iowa, any more information on the company?
Thanks again

there is aprogramer for the wash setup. can program the wash cycles. build a wash. get back with and I will give you the programmer model # tomorrow.

Let me make sure I understand this. You have a 31 year old automatic that needs a lobotomy. While mI'm surprised that there are operators here that can help you, you just might want to consider replacing it.

build a wash p

the programmer to build a wash is, magelis xbt-p021010 or po21010. rebuilt by radwell int.rogramer for Aok dynawash
