OK, I have ACW4's at my car wash. Yes, I know they are from the 90's. They work fine. The battery on one is dead. It was losing its programming. Now it says memory impaired. To the best of my research, that indicates a dead memory battery.

I called Hamilton, they said send it back and they would repair it. Minimum cost $80 plus parts plus shipping both ways and time.

I looked and Dultmeier sells a battery pack replacement. Where is my battery pack? I took out the control board and there are several 28 pin chips. Apparently, one of them is the battery pack?

Any help is appreciated. I really don't like to send stuff off unless necessary.

The battery pack that Dultmeier lists on their web site HA49-9523 isn’t the right part number. The Smart socket or BRAM modules are easy to change and easy to screw up if you do it wrong.
