We set our new site on 45 seconds for the dryers mounted on the exterior of the building. Most people leave with time still on the clock. We've asked for feedback and the only complaint we get is that we need more drying time. I want to change the time to 60 seconds but have the dryers shut off immediately if a car leaves early. Can you give me some ideas, please.

I used photo eyes wired into blower control panel for the same purpose but abandoned them once they failed ( weather beat them up real bad).

I never fixed it, but I did have it working.

It can easily be done on my Laser 4000 I have wall mounted dryers with a free standing timer to the driver side and under carriage eyes mounted on the exterior wall so when the car breaks that line they shut off. I have 60 seconds dryer time and they shut off early. I am sure it could be done no problem on a WW high velocity ask your distributor or call tech support at WW. Will save your equipment & power bill & speed up car output on busy days for sure. I know we had to run conduit inside the equipment room back to the JO cabinet from the under carriage eyes and mount a little box I swear you can buy it as a kit and the amp/base is in a little enclosed weather proof box mounted outside also. The eyes just mount them in a plastic 120v outlet box looks good mounted across from each other I forgot the measurements ones way higher than the other just like the undercarriage eyes. Your distributor should know exactly what the kit is. I believe it's technically called dryer shut off eyes and J Box. call tech support to get the part number at WashWorld

On my WW HV. I have a relay on the exit door eyes. It ties into the door controls in the UCC Cabinet. When a car leaves the door eyes the dryer goes off. I have mine set to 42 secs. I have only had a few complaints about the time in 3 years. I do not have a visible timer. Most people just fly through the dryers, speeds up the process!!

All of my dryers use photo eyes to shut down the dryers if a car leaves early and we use timers also. I gibe 60 seconds per dry time.
